So do you think Zenimax will launch TESO forums on their homepage? I mean we do have this one but it only is a general discussion sub-forum. This will make trying to find specific information a bit disorganized with out sub-forums like Guild Recruitment, Lore, Strategy, Off-topic, etc.

They've always referred to this forum as "temporary", so I believe they will open up official forums through the ESO website once the game is launched.

Once the official game is released, they might expand this forum up with new subforums.

They did this with TES:V as well. After its release, the mod and support subforums forums were created.

The Official Forums will be completely separate from these boards, with an entirely different Moderating Team and Admins. The Forum Names will be tied to your ZOS Account Name, so that is the main reason for the separation of the boards.

We don't know when they will become active, but more than likely it will be up before the release date. I think they even said somewhere their plans are to have the new forums up and running to the public before the release date.
