TESV: Corrupt a Wish

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 1:10 pm

Granted but it isnt in the game, just in the CS.

I wish they brought back the Morrowind class system.

Granted, but it only has one (1) race. (EDIT: Which is Mudcrab)

I wish they'd implement a dynamic, branching storyline.

Granted, but it's a retelling of Toy Story 1-2-3, with all the unused plot lines.
I wish that the dialog in TESV was better...

Granted, but due to monetary constraints they could only afford to hire Irish Culchies so you can't understand a word.
I wish that there are no Irish Culchies, I hear enough of them in real life.

Granted, Todd Howard sees your wish and exchanges them all for leprechauns just before the release day.

I just wish the rain doesn't go through physical objects in TES5.

granted, but it is always raining for no apparent reason, and the weight of the rain destroys every bulding eventually.

I wish that We get better combat.

granted MUAHHAHAHAHHAHAH...... but each enemy you face will engage you in a lengthy dialog before combat starts (even mud crabs) and after many hours of dialog selecting and puzzles and riddles their is only a small chance that the whole situation will degrade into violence, instead usually the confrontation ends with hugs and kisses, and singing Kombaia.

man I think I missed my calling I should have been the devil :(

I wish we could construct customizable/upgradable Frankenstein like monsters if we become powerful necromancers, and be able to permanently summon skeletons to our side and skeleton archers too.

Easy! Wish granted but they constantly steal from you and gnaw on your limbs. They are more like pests than pets or companions.

I wish for mountain climbing gear so we wont need a horse to climb those mountains... that and levitate.

Oh, it's granted, my friend. The developers thought it would be only logical if you couldn't climb without your gear though, so for every incline steeper than 1 %, you'll have to have brought your climbing gear to get anywhere (hey, a rhyme!) -- thing is: it's heavy. It weighs staggering 200 pounds, and unless you've got 100 strength, you can't climb with more encumbrance than 100 pounds.

I wish stuff had mass -- so that people weren't just mesh skeletons and the world wasn't just a sheet of polygons.

Yeah yeah you got your wish. Sadly, now that you have mass, the developers realized you couldn't float when you have anything heavier than clothes equipped, so now if your encumbrance is more than 20, you will start to sink. Also, because people are no longer mesh skeletons, the developers returned to Daggerfall style graphics, and NPCs will be a drawing that constantly swivels around to face you.

My wish: No more enemies leveling with you, and no more leveled equipment.

All right, no one's leveling with you, but in order to keep the game interesting at higher levels, the devs have had to make every opponent's level from 20 and up. This means that every bandit or necromancer you meet will kill you in one hit. You'll have to grind on mudcrabs and rats for a hundred hours before you can take on anything bigger.

I wish TES V will be all my gaming dreams come true.

Your wish has been granted, however it also has all the gamers nightmares possible and the dreams remain dreams and as you play it they turn into the nightmares and slowly fade away.

I wish TES V wouldn't favor a mage as much as it does now, they are way too overpowered compared to stealthy chars or melee warriors!

Wow, I'm surprised. I think mages should be much more powerful. They use magic, for Azura's sake! Last time I checked, magic was more powerful than swords.

But, well, oh darn, your wish is granted. To make it impossible to have one class being overpowered in comparison to another, beth's made it so that melee fighters can hit with swords that do one damage, mages can cast fireballs that do one damage, and ranged fighters can shoot with bows that do one damage.

I wish TES V fulfills my every expectation.

Granted, but becuse the game is so amazing that you cant put the controller to eat or sleep, or use the facilities
and as such you die cold and alone ( sorry that sounds alittle harsh but you not alone it will happen to all of us once this game comes out haha)
but on the bright side you pass away a happy person playing the greatest game that was ever made
I wish for an awsome survival and hunting experience :)

@AtomicAndy

Haha ! That doesn't sound like a corruption - that sounds like nothing less than what I want ! :P

Your wish has been granted. TES V takes place in Hircine's realm but you won't survive for more than one hour of gameplay becuse this is the world of werecreatures and you are NOT the hunter and you are hunted all day and all night and your only thought is on survival.

I wish all books have a realistic amount of text in them.

Actually, that corrupted wish sounds pretty fun.

Your wish is also granted. The problem is, all the books content is about Redoran-style cooking.

I wish TESV has more interactions with all the daedras/aedras. (with rituals, holidays, etc)

Granted but all interactions with them end with you being eaten.

I wish you could fight and cast spells from horse back.

Granted, but you can only fight on horse back, while being submerged in an empty ocean.

I wish that TESV gives me a reason to play after the main and side quests are done, like by becoming a merchant or something.

Granted, you may become a merchant but you now have to man your shop from 8-5, go home, watch the kids, and go to bed. No more leaving town unless it's visiting the in-laws.

I wish rivers/bodies of water were used for something besides to look at, like ship commerce.

Granted, but once you get on a ship it will set off, keep circling the waters and the tank will automatically keep filling untill the ship sinks.

I wish that we will have more interaction options with the NPC's instead of them just filling the scene.

granted, but NPC interactions are so indepth that the entire game is in a white room with one NPC, and you are talking.

I wish that there will by myriads of lore-filled books that are also well written.

Wish Granted, but after the fall of the Empire, libraries were burned and dark ages fell upon Tamriel. The books of TES:V mainly focus on trying to figure out what those strange statues of Dragons are and who exactly these "Martin", "Nerevar", "Vivec", and "Emperor Uriel Septim" characters are.

I wish that NPCs have more differentiation with personality and appearance.

Wish.... granted! And they've even taken it to the next level. Even individual NPCs are different every time you meet them. Their names change, their faces change, their personalities change, and of course their routines change so they're not the same places every day. The game has become much more interesting all of a sudden...

I wish the sound of your footsteps will vary with how much you currently weigh and what material your footwear is made of and what terrain you're moving on. Thieves wouldn't be able to sneak around in daedric armor anymore then :P

wish granted, but you can fall through floor die, so if you ever get highly -encumbered on a second floor, even of a dungeon, and take a setp, "BOOM."

I wish that we get some explaations for why Alduin, not Shor, came at the end of Oblivion.

@Don't forget this

Wish granted, but the explanation is that the story writers no longer care for continuity and TES V will be a grand mess of loose plot lines that never make any sense and aren't tied to lore at all.

I wish we'll be able to fully customize our costumes; like unbuttoning a shirt, rolling up sleeves, tucking pants into boots, etc. -- and have clothes on under armor, of course.

Granted, but when it finaly comes to wear armor now they forgot one pauldron from every armor set

I wish the game has the ability to customize our armor and weapons, to make them more powerfull and to change there appearence
