TESV: Corrupt a Wish

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 10:07 am

You have what you want... ah, no wait -- something's lacking.... you didn't wish for only being able to paint your weapons and armor pink to give them a +1dmg/+1AC bonus, did you? 'Cause that's what just happened.

I wish I'm gonna appreciate having put on diapers before running the game for the first time.

Ok...here we go.

Wish granted. But now you have to put on diapers before doing pretty much anything for the rest of your life. (muahahah!)

I wish the Psijic Order is involve in the storyline of TESV.

I'll just stay inside and play TES V then. With my diapers.

And yes, the Psijic order is very much involved. You start on a boat and the main quest is finding their island. It's impossible unless you're a Psijic yourself, though, and you can't become one before getting there... this was supposed to be overcome by an incidence of time-traveling that was forgotten just before the release of the game. They've lost the codes and everything. And you can't do any other quests before you've found the island... so you're screwed.

I wish TES V is so large that they have to spread the install files out on four discs.

edit:
@AtomicAndy

The towns are more alive. They're cast a spell on by a powerful mage and now walk around and eat their inhabitants.

I'm starting to run out of wishes now.... let's see.... I wish each race has more unique and useful special traits.

edit 2:
oh right, I already made a wish xP stupid me - now I've gone ahead and wished for two things at once... silly silly

The first one's easy: Granted, but you will need a new computer to run it.
#2 - Not granted because you only get 1!

I wish TES 5 would come out without any of us realising it!

Granted or mabe i wont grant it...
you'll never realise it so you'll never know if i did or not

I wish the ability to own more property and for much more room for roleplaying, (kinda like fable had but not shallowly done imo)

Granted -- you can buy a large-ish farm with plenty of room for roleplaying. There's a pasture and a small wood that you can run around and play as much as you want in. Until it all burns down after two in-game days, though. Then you can roleplay dying -- it's not too hard.

I wish for werecreatures with extreme advantages while in wereform and severe disadvantages when trying to be part of society when they're not (and when they are too, of course... you might be the center of attention at a party while a werewolf, but not in a good way) :)

granted, but being a werewolf at a party in't anything wrong, i't just that your stealing the spotlight. WOlves have higher endurance (I think) and so can chug a lot more.

I wish that we see the political side of Tamriel again.

Granted, we get to look into one small towns political system because we have to destroy five seconds later.

I wish there were epic boss monsters that you need special gear to fight. Like the Gatekeeper and Dagoth Ur.

Granted, but the special gear needed to beat a particular boss monster is only attainable by killing said boss monster.

I Wish that the Elder Scrolls V allowed grave digging.

Granted, but only NPC's can do it, and they use these ill-gotten goods to sell to unsuspecting Bosmer merchants.

I wish that if we have to have the new game in Skyrim, that it not be so obviously Nordic... I hated Bloodmoon.

Granted, but it will only be YOUR character that shows dismemberment in the game, everybody else just laughs.

I wish the game will have better shadows and lighting utilizing the better shadowing and tessellation from next gen graphics.

Your wish is granted! Unfortunately, gamesas couldn't get the rights to use this proprietary tech, so they develop the equivalent in-house. As a result, neither nvidia nor ati cards are supported, and the resource usage is so monstrous they have to opt to do the processing for you in their game servers. As a result, you get to play the game in your browser, from any desktop / laptop / netbook / ipad / even mobile phone, but it takes a full minute for your actions to take place, and accessing inventory and other menus takes even longer.

I wish TES 5 comes shipped with a custom controller that negates the need for keyboard / mouse / gamepad, and instead reads your brain's electromagnetic fluctuations.

Granted , but with mind reading comes the next level of Google ad services. Now you will get ads even more "suited" to your specific interests :D.

I wish TES V will have a more immersive and fulfilling trading system.

Granted, you can now be robbed and then killed when you try to sell your goods to a trader.

I wish more diversity of weapons and armor, none of which are guns or post 1300's style armor, were in TESV then were in Morrowind and Oblivion.

You haven't got the munchies now, have you? :P

@ Minus Sanity

Very well, you've now got every stone-age weapon and armor you can imagine.

I wish every corrupted wish we have in this thread will be implemented in the game.

Granted, the leveling system matches with you perfectly cause they dropped leveling all together.

I wish some positive news for TESV comes out next year.

(made myself cry a little on the inside granting that wish :( )

I wish some positive news for TESV comes out next year.

Granted, gamesas will anounce a Christmas 2011 release date, but gamesas will also announce that TESV will also be the last game in the series, because 5 is the number of the end of the world. Oh, and the game will end up being rushed and buggy.

I wish that TES V features gigantic snow monsters that rip themselves out of the ground, turn to water, and drown the player.

Wish granted, but this death is unaviodable and happens everytime you walk outside for the first time.

I wish for less bugs and better animations in the game.

Granted, there are less insects (no insects at all, actually), and since you didn't specify which animations, animations for dogs are better.
