TESV: Corrupt a Wish

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 4:11 am

Granted, but there's only 3 dungeons in the whole game.

I wish for several new spell effects in TESV.

Granted, but all of them cost more magicka to cast than you'll ever have.

I wish that the fighting in the game was more realistic.

Granted, but this spell can also be used by enemies to make you dance.

I wish for some great DLC.

Granted, but the DLC cost more than the actual game.

I wish TESV introduced a new mysterious race.

Granted, but this race is so mysterious that NPCs won't talk to you or give you any quests.

I wish ESV has better combat and magic system.

LOL

ok wish granted BUT due the time spent on developing the awesome combat/magic/stealth system, the developers had no time to make monsters/environments/or quests.

I wish for more advlt content in ES5

Granted. TESV now includes a fully featured system for filling out tax forms and other types of authentic, government paperwork.

I wish that TESV included multiple body types (height, weight, and muscle-mass).

Granted. Your options include anything found on http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/?state=1&cat=54. In otherwords, Walmart comes to Tamriel and the PC is a regular.

I wish that we could finally interact with dragons.

Granted. But the only interaction is a violent firey death every time they are encounted.

I wish for Jobs to be availible in ESV.

Granted, but the five jobs available are "horse dung collector", "punching bag", catamite, "flower girl" for the FF7 fans, and "Imperial Lackey".

I wish TES V would make the majority of game mechanics script events so we can mod those easier.

Granted but the only chracter you can make looks like Napolean Dynamite. and the game is so moddable that it doesnt actualy have any vanilla content, Bethesda have left it to the modders to create the entire game.

I wish you could play as a deadric god.

Granted, but in the tutorial the hero of Cyrodiil defeats you and traps you into a small prison realm in Oblivion and you can only observe the goings on of the world from your cell.

I wish spears made a come back.

Granted, but every creature has the ability to wield them, has learned combat strategies like the phalanx, has incredibly ripped abdomins, and continuously defeat you while yelling triumphantly, "...Skyrim!!!!!"
I wish you could see your feet while using 1st person.

Granted, but due to time constraints and game limitations, every other body part is missing.

I wish that in TES: V we have the option of making our own homes and settlements (ala Real Time Settler mod for Fallout 3)

Granted, but every time you finish creating a settlement, it will be run over by marauders within minutes and burnt down so you have to start from scratch.

I wish TES V will have a mystical and alien environment that doesn't remind me much of the English countryside like in Oblivion.

haha my wish was corrupted hard :P

GRANTED... but the environment will be so alien the atmosphere will be unbreathable and you will die 13 seconds after you make a character, and you will be eaten by actual ALIENS from the alien movie.

I wish we get impressive area of effect spells.

Haha, I saw that coming :P

Okay, your wish is granted. Every area of effect spell is made much more impressive --- so impressive, in fact, that there are no safe spells left -- only spells that set of nuclear explosions that kill everything in a 10 mile radius or rains of fire that set everything aflame and leave only a scorched wasteland covered in ash (edit: some of the ash being what's left of the PC)

I wish the AI is improved immensely for the next game.

Saw your answer coming :P

Granted, but due to engine limitations, the game freezes whenever more than one NPC's AI is activated :brokencomputer:

I wish for a complex and fully-functional ecosystem akin to RDR.

^ Granted, but due to a freaky case of natural selection and evolution in other species, humanoids are now at the bottom of the food chain, and everything you meet out in the wilds will be fully capable of hunting you down and eating you. Not only that, but population has increased horrendously in the predator species, and you're outnumbered 100 to 1 out there.

I wish the player will be able to craft items and structures in the next game.

Granted, but the player character is so imcompetent as crafting things that everything he makes breaks in such a spectacular way that it injures the player every time.

I wish the player could play music in the next TES, like a bard.

Granted, but every time you play music all the NPC's around you like you a little less.

I wish Interiors and exteriors were in the same gamespace.

^Granted, but because of the heavy tax this puts on the engine, you'll get about 1 FPS. (very likely, actually :( )

I wish Bethesda includes some face scanning software so I can play as myself.

Granted, but due to an un-fixable bug, everyone else looks like you too.

I wish that TES V has less stupid looking armours (like glass, and all the helms with the wierd eye guards).

Sure, but the downside is that now we've only got mundane, boring armors. You have the choice between a Mao suit and the sack cloth outfit.

I wish weather effects will have a more prominent effect on gameplay.

Granted, you now have frequent acid rain that makes every metallic pieces of your equipment rust and during thunderstorms you got very high probabilities of being struck by lightning.

I wish TESV has more dialogues.
