TESV: Corrupt a Wish

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 12:14 am

Yup, your wish is granted. Now every time you interact with an NPC, he or she will blabber on for hours on hours -- and you can't skip conversation (the Voice Actors Union's had something to do with that). Not only that, but people will come up and talk to you even though you don't want them to, and they'll tell you all about their day and how the sores on their foot's starting to fester etc. Oh, and there's only one guy doing all the voice acting.

I wish... more player actions will be animated (drinking, eating, sleeping, repairing, etc.)

Granted, you now have frequent acid rain that makes every metallic pieces of your equipment rust and during thunderstorms you got very high probabilities of being struck by lightning.

I wish TESV has more dialogues.

Granted , a huge selection of difrent dialogues and responce is added to the game sadly it all involves about mudcrabs

Wish next game has fishsticks

... that was hard to read, but I'll try to grant what I understood of it ;P

Granted, characters now have more unique faces --- the devs have gone so thoroughly into making them unique, in fact, that they're now all repulsive. People have ugly noses, wrinkles, zits and moles, extra ears and skin diseases. (I think I'll be a hermit in this game)

I wish that consumables have more ... interesting effects this time around, for example visually (think skooma)

edit: and you can have fishsticks -- but they all taste horrible and make you grow fins from your forehead

Wish granted the game has nothing but Fishy Sticks.

I wish TESV had a better alignment system.

Congratulations; your wish has been granted. Everything in the game has now been perfectly aligned -- impeccable order, no randomness whatsoever. Be careful what you wish for - the genie might interpret your words other ways than you intend :P

I wish spending time outside would make the actors dirty. Mud makes you dirty and water makes you wet. Sometimes you have to wash.

Granted, but now when you dont wash every npc will run away when you go near them cause you smell horrible, also if you dont wash every day youll get horrible skin diseases.

I wish more more varities of animals and monsters to kill

Wish granted, but the only variety is the creature's color.

I want a huge city.

Granted, but the city burns down 5 minutes after you enter it.

I wish for more hidden easter eggs!

Granted, but the dual wielding animations are crap, and it gives you ha huge penalty to defense.

I wish that I could resize my character's body, and different parts of the body.

Edit: Edited answer. :P

Granted, but if you give your character a 12 inch...nose...and he knocks a bottle of beer off a tavern table, city guards immediately violently hack him to pieces.

I wish you could use telekinesis to use Jedi like moves like force choke or force push.

Granted, but the enemies have those abilities too and can use them in a range of several hundred meters.

I wish in the next game, it was super easy for modders to add new animations for characters/NPCs.

Granted, but they've taken a radical departure with the series and it's now known as "Lord Rugdumph's magical dictionary adventures."

I wish there were a wider variety of weapon, armor and clothing types.

I wish there were a wider variety of weapon, armor and clothing types.

Granted, Bethesda, upon seeing the popularity of Fallout 3 and New Vegas, decided to add guns and Power Armour to the game. You still need Power Armour Training to equip the armour, of course. The only one who can teach the training died during the tutorial. Guns are a one shot kill weapon on anyone, even you.

I wish that there was a big gameplay area, like Daggerfall.

Granted, but the gameplay area was as... Daggerfall-ish as in Daggerfall. :P

I wish TES V will be the best Elder Scrolls made up to this point in every way, shape, and form.

Granted, but they're only selling 50 copies at 1,000,000 USD each

I wish there will be more choices and consequences, and morally gray areas.

Granted, but the gameworld is only the size of small room and you have a million choices with a million consequences, but the choices consist entirely of pushing 1,000,000 differently named buttons with the consequences being varying methods of death for your character, all of which are morally gray.

I wish for more hand-crafted side quests of equal quality to the series' current best side quest.

Ta-dah. It is done, but unfortunately the reward for every single quest in the game is an iron dagger enchanted with fortify fatigue on strike.

I wish there were more beards and hairdos in the character creation.

Granted, but they are ones for high elves, every other race only has one hairdo/facial hair.

I wish there is a lot of variety of alchemical ingredients

Wish granted but 99% of them are only sold through one hidden store, they all look the same and have the same effects but with different names.

I wish for more costumes in game and not just armor.

Done, but most of them are ugly retextures of the clothes you get at the beginning.

I wish they had an option to have a pet/tame animals through some kind of skill system.

I wish for bards to play inside the inns again.

Granted but they only sing about how much annoying mudcrabs are.

I wish combat was more deadly and realistic.
