TESV: Corrupt a Wish #2

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 1:19 am

granted. NPC's become harmless piles of goo at higher difficulty levels.

I wish that TES V was the best game ever made, was critically acclaimed, made huge amounts of money, was perfect in every way, was developed by gamesas, sold millions of copies, and only cost 50 US dollars.

Wish Granted: But than as soon as you put TESV in your XBOX360/PS3/PC and log onto the internet/xboxlive/psn a update is asked to play for more patches for TESV, with this patch comes a super rare bug that crashes the game as you hit the "start" button at the main menu, never allowing you to even play the greatest game ever made.

Wish: I wish that I could pay a certain amount of real life cash, anywhere ranging from $30-$200 for a ingame weapon to appear from my TV and it works great and is real, example: I find a bow ingame, it has some designs on it or whatnot and I want it irl, so I get a pop up option ingame to transfer to my bank account to pay the amount needed to get this bow delivered to me with a 20x set of arrows thru the TV magically.

Granted, but this feature and the resulting weapon only work while under the influence of a particularly lethal mix of LSD, magic mushrooms, and hemlock, so you die within 4.8 seconds of receiving the weapon.

I wish TES V includes a particularly haunting atmosphere in the city of Solitude.

Granted, but the everything outside solitude is bright and cheerful, even if its in another Province.

I wish that everything that could possibly go wrong with the game goes wrong, and I hate it a lot.

Granted, though the resulting flame war untangles the thread and all of creation and TES V rides away on a wave of lag leaving you with nothing to play.

I wish I could summon a swarm of vicious butterflies in TES V to attack my enemies

Granted, but you get assigned to beta test it three days before it comes out and don't receive the beta till the day of.

I wish TESV has a good currency system that has rarity giving value instead of OB's value increasing by level.

Granted, a plethora of underwater creatures are in TESV. So much development time was spent on it, that they didn't have enough time to put weapons in the game. The only offensive skills are unarmed and destruction.

I wish TESV would have horse combat!!

So you wish it, and so it shall be. Wish Granted.

Atomic Andy is the main (and only) character of TES: V.

There's horse combat, but only one instance where you can use it where you're on a small side-quest. The horse runs in a pre-determined path, and you can only shoot spells/arrows or swing your weapons off the side. Eventually, you reach a cutscene where the person takes the horse and rides away.

I wish for more realistic emotions and facial expressions on NPCs.

Granted, but you have the strength of a rabbit. You die just by being seen and must sneak everywhere, but your sneak skill cannot be leveled once you start the game.
I wish that TES didn't glitch like the recent fallouts.

I think that anyone who has played the older ES games can agree that we all have a commonheld wish. We wish for a revival of the true RPG that Bethesda began with, and it starts with the implementation of more skills and generally more freedom. While Oblivion was just splendid, the lack of skills really limited the uniqueness and creativity in character creation that has come to embody the series. For instance, if i was a stealth character and wanted to kill with a dagger I had to specialize in Blades, a skill governed by strength, whereas in Morrowind you could choose between long blade and short blade. This is just one of many examples where Bethesda has simplified the game to appeal to the masses and in doing so has killed off just a tad more of the RPG element that we all know and love. Not only that, but i felt like the inability to kill "necessary" characters in Oblivion was kind of cheap and really took away from the feeling of freedom that i was so accustomed too with the previous titles. So i guess I (we) can all hope for the best and wish that Bethesda takes an unlikely step away from appeasing the general public and back to pleasing the true ES players. (fingers crossed)

Granted, but you now have to attend the in-game university at a full scale because they made it too life-like, forcing you to miss out on your irl school/work, otherwise you would be thrown out from the university!

I wish that I could have like a profession or a jobb in TES:V

I wish I could have an armored core in-game.
