WHat are your system specs? What are your graphical settings?

It looks like a form of artifacting, a symptom of a dying video card. If you have a spare card to swap out try it and see if its still there.

Also make sure your drivers are up to date, and updated properly. Uninstall, restart computer in safe mode, run Driver sweeper, remove old driver files in the registry using Driver sweeper, restart, install new Driver.

I have disable SLI and use one GPU only but didn't fix it for me. Also it started with this new level where hargreaves introduces you to himself and you get up killing all those robotic-roaches (I dont remember the level name)!!! It was fine before this level. Also before I formatted my computer I had reached this level where you kill all cell agents from a roof top just before entering the tunnel underneath the church prior to reaching hargreaves lab, and there I had this crosshair issue not centering - it was kind off-target to the sides. So I stopped playing and got busy setting up raid 0 for my dual SSDs, which resulted in formatting all the saved games!! After this I reinstalled crysis 2 and replayed until now without any issue!! Does it has anything with profile or files in the saved game files??? I'll try to delete the last saved file - replay couple of levels, cos, clearly, the error that're coming up whilst opening the console command (~ key) shows that it's some sort of game-data issue!!

Are you using some kind of custom autoexec.cfg file?

I'm actually experiencing the exact same glitch at the same level. As soon as Hargreaves starts talking to me, the textures go bonkers, mainly on my weapon but also in the sky and other areas. It's pretty much unplayable now. Here are a couple of screens:

It almost looks like I'm using cloak, but that's not what it is.
I was not having a single issue so far, it all started at that level. I don't have any other problem with any other game. I am using a custom autoexec.cfg file, but even when I remove it I still get that issue.

My rig:
GTX465 (with latest beta drivers 275.27)
Intel i5 750
Intel P55
8GB RAM 1666MHz
Windows 7 Premium

So I'm not the only one!! Have u tried deleting the last saved game files for that level or reloading the level?? I haven't had time to test it until now but I will give it a go on Sunday and will update ya. I tried deleting cfg files, user profiles, etc...the only things that remains is the saved game files!!!

I haven't tried deleting it yet but I did reload it manually, and the glitch was still there.
It's weird because the beginning of the level is fine (when your suit is all messed up after your chopper crashed), but it's only after the two cutscenes that this bug starts, with or without a custom .cfg file. And it can get really bad, my weapon is entirely yellow at times, with the sky going purple-greyish...

Well, I've tried everything I could think of. I reloaded previous saves, deleted the latest ones in case they were corrupted, tried other VGA drivers, uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, played with and without an autoexec.cfg file, and still the same bug occurs every single time starting at the "Seat of Power" level, when Hargreaves starting talking to me. I have no idea what could be causing this, everything was running perfectly well so far.
I play at 1920*1080, will all settings to max.
Would anyone have a suggestion?

Same here!! Deleting the file didn't help either!!! Hence, I stopped playing the game. Hopefully the new patch will fix this. Also i may try reloading the OS!!

I've also stopped playing the game for now, which is disappointing.
I pvssyd with a EA tech guy and what he suggested did not do the trick. First, he mentioned to make sure that no program ran in the background and that my temporary files were clear, which was really irrelevant, then he suggested to run the .exe in compatibility mode with Windows XP SP3, which I tried, and still no dice...
I really hope the upcoming patch will fix this, but it certainly seems to be an isolated issue, I don't see a whole lot of peeps complaining about this specific problem...

That's one of many reasons am worried about!! And volume of posts in this forum relating to other problems seems to make this thread a needle in the hay stack!! I was looking my own thread all over until I clicked my profile and went from there!!!!!!!

Have you both tried using the 270.61 drivers instead of the latest beta drivers?

Not yet, but I'll give this a shot as well. Thanks for the suggestion neo158.
I emailed EA about it and received a surprisingly quick answer, however it was way off. They thought I could not play online, which is not the point at all...

Well, I was hoping that the patch would help, but I still get the same issue, and now I see from another thread here that others are getting that bug too.
I haven't tried the newest Nvidia drivers yet, but I really doubt it'll change anything. I guess I'll have to start a new campaign, and if that doesn't work, I guess I just won't be able to play this game...

With 275.33 WHQL Drivers today fresh from June 1 also the problem persists. In the pictures of Nvidia many people also complain that, with 270.61 drivers this problem does not happen. Taking the patch 1.8 or not. It's a horrible texture problem, as well as many gamers hope to find a solution soon, I think is the problem of drivers.
