Texture Replacer BSA question

Post » Sun Apr 04, 2010 4:54 pm

Hi,

I was just wondering if there was a way of packing Quarl's (fantastic) texture pack into a single bsa archive and getting Oblivion to load it. I'm quite keen to clear out my data folder, it's getting ridiculously cluttered.

I've tried just packing the whole lot into a bsa archive (so the archive contains the meshes and textures folders), and sticking it in my data directory, but it doesn't get loaded.

Thanks in advance :)

Bsa don't autoload, either make a blank esp with the same name as the bsa or add to to oblivion.ini SArchiveList=

And a single bsa mustn't be bigger than 2GB, as the game can't handle it.

Hmmm. I've tried both those methods, and splitting the archive into two (one for meshes and one for textures as it was originally just a whisker over 2 GB), creating blank esps from the one included with Wrye bash. But none of the textures appear to be working in game :S
