I wouldn't have minded the lower textures, where used, if they didn't often have the sharper, more "in focus," shiny HDR'd objects sitting right on top of them to contrast how terrible the lower quality textures really are.

There are always going to be some lower res. textures mixed throughout a game...it's how well they're integrated. While playing the game, do they really "leap out at you" here and there, or are they mixed in enough that even when you do notice, for some reason they don't bother you as much...
