Talos was a man and dragonborn - no more, no less. There's really no way for a mortal to become a god. In saying that, if the legends about Arkay being a human before a god are true, then that would mean they're the 7 divines. ;)

Until you up and decide to mantle one, and become such.

Have you ever really seen or heard of Talos's direct involvement with the world? You're quite often hearing about intervention from the other Aedra and even Arkay, but never from Talos.

Technically I think they should be up to 11 by now. COC may or may not have become a Daedra, and for that matter, Maritn seems to be a new Aedra. Once Dovahkiin gets through that makes twelve.

Altemer all high and mighty with magicka. Still svck at math.

Nah, martin isn't an Aedra. He's just..dead. COC SHOULD be a Daedra..But a certain part of Skyrim kind of invalidated SI.

Not sure about you, but I sure like that lucky coin Talos gave me in Morrowind. Really, the Aedra themselves don't come in and intervene a lot, as being half dead will do that to you. The Thalmor want Talos worship banned for a reason after all.

...Au contraire, Talos is certainly the most active of the Nine, both directly and as an extension of Lorkhan/Shezarr/Shor.
In fact I'm having a hard time mounting an argument for this just because it's so obvious that I don't see how one could conclude otherwise... It wasn't that long ago that he was walking around in the flesh, and reshaping entire provinces.

"A title passed down from me to me" can be taken a lot of ways. The way I see it, it leaves it open ended on the fronts that you either DID Shivering Isles, or you didn't. Its possible that he wound up becoming molded into the image of Sheogorath more perfectly as to fit his role into a madgod.

Surely, quite surely, you must mean "This is Cyrodil!", or at least, "This is the Empire!".

And once the Empire reaffirms full control of Skyrim and reconciles with Hammerfell, the time will come about to preparing for the next Thalmor invasion. Once that is won, the terms of the White Gold Concordat can be repealed fully.

I will once again say. The Empire is finished. Seriously. The Septim line ending, The Great War, the rebellion, the DB quest line ending...

The Empire is completely and utterly screwed.

Even though I am a devout supporter of the Empire, I do believe that the Empire is in quite a bit of trouble. All the Empire can hope for now is that Titus Mede II's heir is graced with competence and that the rebellion in Skyrim can be quelled. If this is not the case, the Thalmor will surely take over all of Tamriel and begin their genocide of Men.

That wont happen. Do you really think Bethesda would just remove 4 races from the game? The Thalmor will most likely fade away because their goal would cause the end of TES.

I see a second Great War being a plotlone (maybe not the main plot) in the next game. Maybe even some Thalmor baddies in an expansion.

Fear not, goodly sons of Talos, for our heart's faith in Ysmir will be rewarded. The Dragonborn will deliver us from Elfin perdition.
