As long as there are at least 100 kinds of dragons, I'm all set. Just don't send copies of the same dragon all over Skyrim. But I doubt that, BS wouldn't be that cheap, wouldn't they?

My sleep cycle is not disturbed by something as trivial as news about a game and its features.

Yeah, really. As significant as they might be to the plot, gameplay-wise I prefer them as recurring boss monsters.

I've heard about that and I'm happy. Apparently the Radiant Story keeps track of how long you go without fighting a Dragon, sounds like a lot of fun and hair pulling when you get killed.

I would've rathered a limited amount personally but I'm not worried. This could cause havoc with people roleplaying a game while trying to ignore the main quest though because no matter what you get hunted at some point, probably one of the first things that will be changed by a mod.

I suppose we will endure an epic battle to kill some of these dragons and then be like "Damn I already had that Dragon Shout"

Don't get me wrong, my sleep cycle will definetly be thrown off when the game comes out... but until then I'll be sleeping just fine... unless they postpone the games release for like a year or something, if they do that I'll need intense therapy.

and its good that they won't be spawning en-mass like cliff racers. he did not mention cliff racers but you could tell it was going through his mind, or that what I thought.

I took "There’s not a fine amount of dragons" as a comment they haven't decided on the actual numbers of dragons to have in the game yet, not that they will be infinite.

Meh. I dont want them to be there after I complete the main quest. After awhile when one descends into the town itd just end up like Megaman and Dr. Willy "Oh [censored] you again? I mean seriously, I am really starting to get a little [censored] pissed off."

I don't think that's correct. "There's not a finite amount of dragons" means there is no set limit. In other words, they're infinite. They may have misspoke or had their information wrong, but I don't think that's the case. Now how common they are is another story. Also, they may still leave or be eliminated after the main quest, but until that is achieved... infinite is what that phrase means.

True :) But "There's not a finite amount of dragons" isn't what they said :P

Which article are you referring to? Because that's what I read. I copy and pasted the following from the giantbomb article in the combat section below the dragon screen, and I've read it elsewhere too.

http://www.giantbomb.com/news/skyrim-is-looking-like-the-elder-scrolls-evolved/3048/
"The dragons aren't scripted story encounters, so there isn't a finite number of them and (like everything else) they'll populate the world at random during your journeys."

But they are part of the game world, it would be like removing bandits in way.
