Bethesda creates a universe with depth and wonder. It svcks up hundreds of hours of my time. Modders make more content and their dedication to this amazing series soaks up hundreds more of my precious hours. No other game series has this kind of quality in the dev team, their game, the community, the mods, and everything else which has created such a unique and enchanting experience.

I have dedicated ridiculous amounts of free time to TES, and will do so for as long as Tamriel still exists. Thank you Bethesda, for your peerless games, thank you modders for enriching the experience, and thank you forum community, for making tamriel such an accomodating place. Even if TES:V never comes, it's been by far my best video game experience.

TESie, you are the only, only, only!

I have to add my thanks. Still making games because they are awesome instead of trying to pat yourself on the back for getting so many sales!!!! Which is an all too common thing for some game developers to exclaim today, rather than being excited about the game being any good. If this were the movie business, I'll take the next Moon over the next Ironman any day.

So, yeah. Thanks for being the guys that try to make a good game first, and worry about sales second.

Thanks to you Bethesda for creating these awesome games. But I have to admit, I want it so badly that someone else makes a better game than yours. What a game that would be... ;)

PS. Just a reminder, I won't feel bad if it turns out to be you, you know. :P

Ya THANKS !!!
My first experience with TES for PS3 will be my last!

Every time i try to enter the the Temple of the one with martin the screen goes black and i can still hear all the fighting going on outside but it does nothing, i let it go for a couple of minutes and it would not do anything so i had to shut it off and it corrupted my files. This also happened in some caves as well as some ruins. If i kept trying it would sometimes let me in but i could not save cause it would freeze and if i didn't save and finished the cave or ruin it would not let me out cause it would freeze. I have spent more time redoing things over and over then i have actual played the game. The first time that it corrupted my files it set me back 150hrs to where it would finally work. The second time this happened it corrupted my hard drive and i am now trying to fix that problem. Now i cant play anything until it is reformatted which will take hours THANKS!
When i first started playing i was having a blast and loved it, now I am so disappointed in this game cause of all the bugs and problems it has. How does a company that boast how much time they took to build this game and how good it is and that it is even better then the others before it let a game out that has so many problems and bugs? How could they not know about theses problems. GAME OF THE YEAR EDITION wow really! and it makes the top ten. I spent good money on this game and spend more time on the internet trying to fix the problems then i do plying it, sad thing is i don't get paid to do that and it seems that the people that do, shouldn't be getting paid as well.
I have spoken to so many people that have played this for the first time on PS3 and are pissed and have just got rid of the game because of all the problems in the game. I have never in my 20 years of playing a game have i had so many problems....not even SOCOM 3 was this bad and /6 messed that game up!

Thanks Bethesda. I absolutely love your work. Oblivion is my all time favorite game. Its the game that really got me into gaming. Fallout 3 was amazing too. That being said, I think your loyal fans need a little thanks from you. We are, after all, the people who put the money in your pockets... And I can't think of a better way for you to thank us than an Elder Scrolls V announcement...

You should go here:

PS. Friendly advice. Play it in PC if possible. This is the kind of game that makes you buy a PC, as games like GT5/Uncharted/GoW make you buy a PS3.

Why bother signing up for a forum dedicated to Bethesda (which kinda involves TES) if all you're going to do is bash it?

Thank you for Daggerfall and Morrowind.

Here's to hoping TES V is more like them.

Thanks for Oblivion.

God i can't explain how amazing that game is. When i look up at the night sky in it, i've never quite felt so much wonder, magic in any other game or movie. Inspiring (for me).

Thanks for providing me with games that I can cheerfully thrust into the face of anyone who proclaims that videogames are stupid, boring, shallow pursuits that stunt creativity and suchlike. Because it is absolutely guaranteed that they haven't played a Beth game.

Yes, thank you Bethesda and all of the community content creators for so many wonderful hours I've had in your worlds from Arena to Oblivion! So keep up the great work and I am so looking forward to information about TES:V!

 oh man i dont even know where to start...oh yeah many years ago...soon after morrowind had come out. i was playing games like halo, and sands of time on my xbox. my friend jon would always bring new games over to my place for us to play. one day he brought over a game called morrowind. i had never herd of the elderscrolls, so i had no clue what to expect. infact i hadnt even played very many rpg's. the first time we played it, i was like "holy crap this game looks incredible" i played for a few hours and was very disappointed at the fact that i could not kill anything. stumbling into some caves near the opening town, and getting creamed. it was torturous for me not to be able to take down foes, or even hit them for that matter. so i told jon that i didnt want to play this game anymore, he agreed. a few weeks later, i was bored and had nothing to do. i noticed that jon had left morrowind next to the console. so i searched the internet for info on the game. and learned some cheats and strats. then gave it another try. i was blown away at how much more i enjoyed the game. the only thing that stopped me from enjoying it the first time around was the tedious combat. and i had fixed that soul trap ability/skill glitch. i then played it for months, everyday, whenever i had nothing else to do, and sometimes even when i did have things to do, or places to be. i was addicted. a year or two later, i herd about oblivion. and became very exited, because after being enthralled in morrowind, no other games i played seemed very good. i started playing other rpg's, including baulders gate 1 and 2 champions of norath, kotor 1 and 2, bards tale, and fable. the only ones that enjoyed where the kotor's, mosly cus love starwars. it was getting closer to oblivions release date. i pre ordered it, then it got delayed. the day it finally got released, was the day i bought my first 360. and almost got creamed by a train on my way back to gamestop, after making a trip to the bank. i got lost in OB for many months, ignoring my girlfriend, and even sometimes my friends. the gameplay was lightyears beyond any rpg i had played. even though the world was lacking many of the things i loved a MW, the improvements made up the difference. i no longer buy any rpg that ISNT made by BGS. and dont even buy many games at all because they all just disappoint! and it is certainly not worth buying a game that i can beat in a week or less. which most games now adays seem to be. so i just rent, or borrow a friends.

so hell yes...thank you BGS, for the elderscrolls, and even fallout 3.
i eagerly, excitedly, anxiously....await TES:V, so i can get lost, and get yelled at for not paying attention to my girlfriend once again.

Well.

I always skip over lore and after Morrowind bored me with its books, I didnt bothered reading them in Oblivion either.

Personally I am more interested in getting a better rulesystem below the thing.

Sadly, rulesystem quality seems to interest nobody nowadays.
