Thank you Crytek for giving us your input into the gaming industry. I am afraid for me and many others it is the end of the line of our "dedication" to you as a developer. I was just doing some of my weekly readings for school and look at what I happened to read... As soon as I read it (as a fundamental principle to retain customers) I immediately thought of you Crytek.

So I took a picture to show you (if you even read these boards) and the members who still view this board only hoping to get a patch to fix the multiplayer and trophies with Crysis 2.

I've said it in many places that I was giving them until mid-October to fix the issue with dedication before I completely give up. You've already lost me as a customer for all your future titles I am sorry to say it. I'll be speaking with EA over the phone on Friday to voice the cries of many gamers who feel betrayed by Crytek and ultimately EA.

And just so you guys understand, it is not just the matter of a single trophy. It is the issue of lagging responses (if responses at all) by community moderators, lack of sufficient support and the feeling of betrayal customers feel.

I don't understand as a business student and as a gamer why Crytek would go so long to fix such an easy issue. Valve, Naughty Dog, Media Molecule and countless other developers take in and support their customers by listening to feedback and timely responses, updates and so fourth. Crytek doesn't seem to care about either. Sorry but my money will be spent where I know I will get the best experiences and not stress and headaches as I have with this game.

I just owned a PS3 console only, so my first experience with Crytek is from Crysis 2.
I am a "dedicated" Crysis 2 player and trophy hunter, however I haven't got my "Dedication" Trophy for Crysis 2.
Would Crytek let its customer down from buying Crytek's game for the first time ?

I know it is just a trophy , but as gamer and like any other gamers, a trophy or Platinum trophy it gives a satisfaction for gamers to achieve it.

Please do some patch for "Dedication Trophy" or at least explain to us how to fix it if it is possible to fix it by ourselves.....

I am totally with you QuantumMercury! I am not a big forum guy but this whole situation has finally led me here. I have been waiting patiently while reading posts both here and at PS3Trophies.org hoping to eventually "earn" this last trophy. And honestly as stated by many others it's not even about the trophy, I have plenty of games which I will never get a Platinum and or 100% so in the big picture it's not a big deal.

But the lack of any feedback is what I'm most upset about. I bought and played this game on March 22nd and like many others were let down on September 22nd when I did not get my reward for my "Dedication". Which is sad because all bugs and glitches aside I really really enjoyed this game, both the single player campaign and the fast paced highly customizable multiplayer.

I advised both friends and family members to purchase this title and I never heard a complaint (thank God none of us had the "Tooled Up" glitch). I logged a ton of game play hours and all I and many others are asking for is some customer service. I am among the minority of people who have let my Crysis 2 experience affect my desire to purchase or play Crysis 1. It doesn't feel right supporting a company who isn't supporting me.

Thats pretty much all from me tonight but let me add one thing, before posting here I traded in my copy of Crysis 2 to GameStop. Looks like I'll be stuck at 98% until a patch is (if ever) released, at that point I can just borrow the game from my cousin. But the question is will there be an online community left by that point?

Crysis 2 is half a year old. There's no need for Crytek to support Crysis 2 any longer. They should put all their support and efforts into their upcoming titles. If dedication would have unlocked people wouldn't be so angry. But there are of course people whining about lag which almost every game has.

Wow you trophy whores just don't stop do you? I really hope Crytek doesn't take any of you seriously and instead focus' more on the actual game instead of the stupid trophy icon. Just to let you all you Trophy Whore losers know I bought Crysis 1 and got a Platinum just to piss you all off. The only platinum I have too. Keep waiting for your stupid trophy patch. I'll be enjoying the actual game, you know what I paid money for. Not to make people think I'm some type of super gamer, which no one does anyone.

That is my point. I understand that they have more lucrative products to pursue but the multiplayer in Crysis still does not work properly. Lag, hit detection, failed party system, the trophy glitches, etc

If their new projects are more important than continuing product support to their consumers it shows what kind of company they are. Not one I or many others want to support any longer. Like I said in the post, it's not over the JUST a trophy, it is what the trophy represents.

Do you realize the irony of your own post and did you even take the time to read mine. You seem pretty simple minded over the issue, this is more an issue of lack of support than just a trophy. Crytek can do whatever they want like I've said many times before. What determines if they are a good company in the eyes of the consumer is a totally different story. To all the people who will never support Crytek games again and spread word not to support them as well.

Yep, BF3, MW3 and UC3... and everything else.

While the trophy issue is my main gripe, quatum here has a good point, to keep customers happy, you need to support your games, especially one that was promoted so much...

I loved the mp, but the bugs he mentioned makes it unbearable at times, hell the ones that were meant to be fixed ARE STILL present (the menu sound bug is one example, lobbies stuck in initialising, etc) and can be utterly annoying at times...

Once the issues are fixed, then I'll buy on my local psn, the first crysis (since its $30 aud where US store is $20 us :C), if not I can live with the alternative...which means me...well you can kinda guess, pick any of the options...if you get it right you get a MAXIMUM COOKIE!

Quamtum could have not said it any better,hopefully i get my last trophy next month,if not screw it,maybe one day it will pop up,and im only one for platinum too. I platinumed crysis 1 last week but when i was playing delta mode and beat the first 3 stages the trophy didnt show up so i deleted my save and started over and it finally showed. Also the game had another bug where prophot just stayed frozen after u meet up with him and beat the aliens and the game would not progress so i rebooted.Sux crytek is not giving a rats ass about their customers for cry 2 anymore. Ill literally do a backflip if one more patch ever comes out which i doubt.

LOL You bought that crap... I gameshared it. No one here cares that you platinumed a game that takes 2-3 days. Also the trophies are part of the game you paid for. So were here to tell them about it. Improve Multi-player in what Crysis 2? Sorry buddy theres no hope there.

Crysis 2 real bugs that should had be fixed:

ON MULTI PLAYER
flying weapons still on stealth [i see people often on stealth with the gun without stealth]
Things that make you stuck in "like a chair, a bag, trash, little things, anything that you should just can pass trough" [its really annoying be killed cause this s*** had stucked u]
lobby problems that wont start the game when count gets to 0, or when you friends that are in your squad get on another match even being on yours [wtf is that]
almost always the match have a migration session [ i had 4 in one match once!] if it doesn't disconnect
be alone on lobby for 10 min and nobody gets in
weapons that sometimes don't shot and you must to change it or get another one on floor

ON SINGLE PLAYER

the marines that fires non existing weapons and the bullets get out from their middle[don't affect me but....]
part of the game like the 2 times that you kill a pinger and the game gets stuck, and the IA gets freeze and you can not advance and must begin all over again hoping that won't happen again
the aliens that walk in the air like there was a car or something invisible
the ay69 that is fully reloaded with full magazine and do not shot a single bullet [ this gun i can't use on sp]


And there are other things that i don't remember right now. So, if this game is alright and do not need to be fixed for you crytek, i assure i won't support you anymore with no one single cent ever again. And if nobody of you guys, adms, have the dignity to come here and tell at least the truth and respond your customers, that you are not doing anything else about the issues anymore, you really aren't professionals and do not deserve any respect like a real entertainment company.

The least that you crytek should do to minimize, in some way, your mistakes was to release crysis 1 for free for your customers hoping to not loose a lot of them by doing that, but of course you don't have the insight cause all you care about is money right.

I am a ps3 player buddy, it should be clear.
That's the first time that i complain, and I had to do it cause there are so many fan boys here on this site saying that there's not a serious problems with this game and think the only issue is about trophies. That is why.
You do sure think crytek will come here and say they have fixed all like a surprise?
c'mon man you know this won't happen.
The thing is that before a had encountered ALL the issues i had liked it much, but know i kind like and hate at same time this game.
But i won't buy anymore games from crytek cause i don't like to be frustrated.

By the way, i am not a trophy hunter, but i think it is a s*** these trophies glitches to, cause there are people that buy and play the game only for that, that's their way to get fun, and this has nothing to do with me or you.

ok i have tooled up trophy glitched on me anyway even now if they fix i will not load my crysis 2 i just want the game to be their in trophy list uncompleted so i remember not to buy anything from them when they took my money they were laughing in their offices now lets see i really wish to see collapse as a company and then i will laugh a lot on a stupid company like you,
