Nice! Dont think Ive seen a thread dedicated to just thanking them.

Thank you Crytek for all the gaming masterpieces. Thank you for your fantastic support and giving me reasons to always upgrade my PC ;P

I have a feeling that not a lot of people on these threads will be posting here due to their.....umm.......issues, LOL!

Keep up the good works guys. You do have a very loyal fanbase

NEED MORE THREADS LIKE THIS! :D

Releasing free stuff pays back so much! Look at TF2, years of free updates, and now they are able to be free to play because users buy the small stuff, while valve releases big stuff for free. It all builds loyalty, and right now Im feeling pretty loyal to Crytek :)

Thanks for the awesome update! :D

I would like to thank Crytek for some new features in Multiplayer. What I most enjoyed was the contrast between the brightness and darkness. The environment is much more realistic now!

Thanks!

Great update Crytek, thank you. I can now appreciate your work a lot more now just like Crysis 1 and Warhead.

Thanks, Crytek!
I can say that i feel really like the other people of this thread and I'm grateful for the graphic update and appreciate your work.

At first i was somehow disappointed about the graphics, they were already good at realease but not a real Benchmark like Crysis 1 was, but with this FREE update you really made amends for that! Now I can bring my 6970 to full GPU use, test my rig and enjoy this beautiful graphics, that no other game has. The DX11 Patch made Crysis look another step more realistic and it's great!

Now I wait full of hope for the Sandbox 3.

also many thanks for the game as a whole best game i have played since the first 2 crysis games :D
now i just sit and wait for Sandbox 3 and hope i can still take screenshots 10 times bigger than the res i play at :D

also look forward to more work from the team at Crytek (Crysis 3 :P)

Thanks Crytek, I like how Crysis 2 on Ultra feels like Crysis 1 on Very High all over again. (No sarcasm), It's a great patch and it refines over the smallest details. I am also pretty sure that I'm seeing bugs, like no DOF on Ultra?

Thank you crytek

Better late than never

Crysis 2 was a very good looking game before the patch

now it's the best looking game, and it will be even more with the mods tools release

(right now i can only play it DX11 on my laptop at 10-15 FPS@1024x768 T_T can't wait to get home)

can't wait for tomorrow, the first thing im going to make is a huge ramps to power slide from the top of a building, then jumping near the end and air stomping 10 dozen explosive barrels

P.S. i know that Metro 2033 looks awesome and the gameplay is awesome too, can't wait for last light, but on tesselation Crysis 2 makes a better job with better performance, and better destructibility (yes, i believe that crysis 2 has better destructability (on crysis 1 normal trees weren't breakable, only palms which aren't on crysis 2 and small trees which are also in crysis 2 and you can destroy them too, and you couldn't rip of car doors or blow concrete edges/ statues heads/ bend in metal plates) )

though i would like that crytek or the community released some DX10 patch with PoM and some other features which DX10 can do but for some reason are restricted to DX11, some people still have good DX10 cards that can take lot of games

yes thank you CryTek employees this patch has made the game look better and even though there are glitches and problems introduced they can always be fixed some how maybe a template could be made to get people posting about problems to be more helpful to your efforts maybe even a bug subforum so they dont clog every forum up
here's to hoping the community will help provide more data to help fix them instead of crying about them good job CryTek

There's a lot of hate on this forum. Hate, whine and grump, to be more inclusive. It's the primary reason that I NEVER get involved with the forum; the group of people who are most visible here strike me as the kind of person that desperately WANTS to be unhappy and I prefer happiness. I won't lie though: when I snagged C2 within the first week of release I felt a little let down. It was fun, but I didn't see anything that really set it apart from so many other shooters I'd seen recently. It didn't feel like anything special to me because I've spoiled myself with a high-end PC.

I want to say that I just fired up the new improvements and crow has never tasted so good. Crysis 2 is now, by far, the most visually stunning game I've played. It makes me want to haul my rig to a friend's house (that I don't even particularly like, actually) just so I can show him how gorgeous a game can be (he's on a 360). I spent a good 20 seconds just staring at a brick wall, and the difference in something so seemingly minor as the tutorial sequence is shocking. Even the DOF isn't bothering me (another recent game I won't mention here implemented the effect so poorly that I can't play it for the headaches).

Thank you, Crytek, for bringing newer graphics to our wayward console gaming brethren. Thank you for not making PC players wait an extra four months just to play it, and most of all, thank you for NOT releasing a half-done patch.
