A lot of these will be really useful RP wise, if only we had chat bubbles so communication didn't pull me out of my character into a small corner of the screen...

An impressive number of emotes to play with. This is the level of detail that, to me, shows the Developer's of this game are aiming for a similar gaming experience to the one I want to play a lot.
yeah im 100% for chat bubbles. WoW had them and you didnt need to always be looking at a box, plus chat bubbles let you know exactly whos talking near you.
+1 for chat bubbles!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, thank you for all the great emotes. Lots of lovely poses, prop emotes, and even a few nice trolling ones (looking at you /bucketsplash )

I can finally make a band.
/lute
/flute
gogogo.
you forgot /drum
EDIT: I was thinking if it is possible to do an orchestra in the game in the future.. that would be fun.
If you time the people when they insert the command you can have different tunes starting at different times meaning you can get a music out of that, but all you got to work with is the same 3-4 tunes for everybody except you can mess when they start.
Should be a fun thing to attempt .
Im actually happy to see someone is appreciating the hard work they put (are putting) in the game. As opposed to complaining, and other hateful manners of commenting.
The emotes are great! Im hoping to find roleplayers in every location, not just in the major cities, but on the road for some improvised random encounters. This doesn't happen enough, as the majority is so obsessed with reaching the level cap ASAP. Just take your time, and enjoy the journey. I know i will
With the promissed ability to choose if you want to be in a "RP Server" at character creation, I expect these emotes to be deeply interesting.
Here's the full list of http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Emotes so you can quick reference them if needed in game this weekend.

hmmmm lil sad... no /cough emote??? bummer lol
I never liked emotes, but ok if it makes some happy.
I would like to have emotes bound to game play.
Say my alt runs for a while - then he gets out of stamina - let it run like really tired man and when he stops let him breath heavily. Having just emote for heavy breating is fine but I do not consider it great.
Also having emotes I would like to use them together with chat bubbles - I could have few tabs then to say "heal me!" or "wait a sec" or "bb" - then may be it could play.
Just so you all are aware, there are some issues with the emotes at the moment that need fixing.
1. There are no emote layers, first of all, so you cannot do more than one emote at a time. A good example of this is doing /sitchair, then doing /eat you will get up and your magic hammerspace chair will disappear so you can eat, for example.
2. Emotes are not separated by upper and lower as they should be, so you can't, for example, /wave to somebody while on horseback. Using an emote on horseback will have you hop off the horse and the horse disappear before you actually do the emote.
3. Emotes do not override menu auto-emotes. When you go into a menu in ESO there is this awesome thing that happens where it looks like you're rummaging through a bag, or checking a map, or writing in a journal, depending on which menu you're in. This is awesome, yes, BUT if you are playing the /lute, and want to check your menus while entertaining passersby you can't, you will stop playing the lute to look in your bags or look at your map.
I guess the omission of these is why the game was rated M for "Mature" lol.
