It's all too easy to criticise the devs for what they do, but I've just come to crysis 2, missed the beta and the original so didn't know what to expect.

In the campaign mode, the game is pretty good, though maybe a touch too easy even on SS - but it has good graphics & storyline even though the cut scenes can be a little tiresome, but I enjoyed it a lot

I read the forum before coming into MP (and let's be honest the PSN outage was a hindrance too), and was expecting a pretty buggy piece of work. I didn't get it though. It really is very good. I haven't seen any graining (yet) framerate is fine (haven't needed to change my head bobbing), no lag at all (yet), and no glitches. Haven't even seen any hackers/cheats.

Only one major criticism is that the network connection seems to drop out a lot (but that may be as much PSN's fault as anyone's), and a minor complaint is that the unlocks/assessments use is not ergonomic, it's not easy to understand what you need to do - but then I've seen worse.

Even the forums are pretty good, without the constant whining you get from people complaining about campers.

Now if I could just see my stats online it may be close to perfect

You will never see the grain bug in your PS3 version because that glitch is exclusive to the XBox 360 version. Just FYI.

i have had the grain bug while playing online on the ps3..

Connection drops is because they didn't go with dedicated servers, which is annoying.

I like the game, but the reason that people complain is because Crytek hyped the game up massively, even having Cervat Yerli go so far as to boldly proclaim its got the 'best AI in any game'.

PC gamers hate it because they, for some reason, think consoles are responsible for all its problems. Console gamers complain because it was released unfinished.

The latest patch though... wasn't what I was expecting. Some glaring fixes were missed out I think.
