Is that an orc?

I love how you can see out of the cave and see another structure in the background.

I think that may still be inside the cave, just another room. You can see what looks like a coffin(?) with an urn sitting on top. It's cool, nonetheless.

Where do you see someone sitting in a chair?

The ears do look pointy, but they're pointing towards the camera so it's kind of hard to tell. The armor also looks quite goblin-esque. The height issue is still one I'm not sure of, perhaps the mer is a bosmer. Although if it's a dunmer, I'm just happy that they aren't [censored] blueberries like they were in TESIV.

I think it looks like a goblin. Mainly because of how scrawny it is. But it might be a Dunmer. Who can really say for sure?

I'm baffled that people actually think it's a Dunmer.

I didn't even think twice when I saw it.

It's a goblin and that's all it can be.

Guys, there's really no need to discuss this any longer. You can just look at the armor and tell that it's not a goblin...

Based on what. This is an incredibly stupid thing that too many people here continue to say.

There's nothing special about that armor that would make you think that it's not a goblin based solely on the armor.

The armor looks crappy, like something a Goblin would wear.

I wanna say it's a goblin, just because of the arms. They look so spindly.

Races change. Todd said each one of them will be more unique. Different skin textures and coloring may be an example of this. Or it could just be the lighting.
noooo definitely a gooblin (double-o is intentional), lack of pointy ears and ash colored complexion negate any possibility of being a dark elf.

Edit: actually it's wearing nord armor, possible a drauger? whatever it is (leaning toward goblin) it's definitely not a dark elf.

On a second glance, i think it could be dunmer, the greenish tinge is probably the light...

Anyone else think the arms looks a little too strange for it to be a Dunmer/Orc?

That's why I thought it was a goblin at first. Might just be cause it's tensed/injured/at a weird angle, but I still think it looks un-human

look at the human's hand, the lighting is white in front and orange from the fire in back, its skin is green.

Can't we just meet in the middle and say its a gob-mer? Just kidding that would be ridiculous. But at first I thought it was a goblin but at second glance its ears look too small compared to other games to be a goblin.

I don't know why you guys are talking about ears. There are none in the screenshot being discussed.

Looks like a dunmer. The grey skin is sorta hard to make out, but it's there.

It's a Dunmer beyond all doubt. Open up Dunmer texture files and take the eye dropper to them and you'll find Dunmer are greener than you think...and Orcs are yellower than you think. ;)

Based on just about everyone in this thread, plus all the reasons I've given in the first page that you neglected to read. Your post is really uneducated, which is something I see more and more of everyday, and sadly will continue to see more of as the release date comes closer. I hate that people who spend time to actually read something and do just a minute bit of research have to shepard these forums and comb through the millions of duplicate threads on things that have been confirmed numerous times in the past, or on something coherently obvious, as with this issue. Ranting aside, like I said before, check my other posts. About your armor argument, it makes no sense whatsoever. If the armor is crappy, a goblin would have to be the only one to wear it? Might as well not even put it in for light-armor wearers or low-level characters right? I'm sure it's leather armor or some other sort of light armor bro. Many people wear that. I shouldn't even have to be arguing about this, so I'll quit it and hopefully leave this thread for good.

The thing that interests me most about this screenshot is the design of the Pc's hood. It seems to be almost rigid and reminiscent of Assassin's Creed's assassin hoods.
