I'm more of a Colovian guy myself, even though Nords are rather low on my love scale. But nordly Imperials are cool.

Just call them bretons who grew up playing "kill the daedra lord" as a child rather than being spoiled.

The Colovians do practice one of my favorite sports. Goblin hunting is fun.

I agree with Hircine's OP for the same reasons.

I love the Imperials. They always come back to govern everybody because they are the most civilized and united. The legions can not be stopped. They are not savage like the Bosmer and the beast races.

Whoever put Argonians as their least favorite without giving an explanation should be burned at the stake for treason against the Royal Court of Argonia, which rules all. They're secretly controlling the Empire, ya know.

They are all needed for the games themselves, but I dislike orcs. My favorite are Bosmer, Argonians and Khajits, but I voted Bosmer because my very first TES character was a Bosmer.

Damn those savage bretons, altmer, and redguards. Beasts, all of them.

By savage I mean by our real life standards. Canabalism and giving up your children to worship an evil assassin god IS savage.

But you have to respect the imperials. Taking control of Tamriel against superior numbers and continuing to control these people is not a feat to fart on. Maybe it's just because I like siding with the more "republican" groups.

:shrug: I, personally, try my best to be tolerant of other people's cultures. While some things seem entirely ridiculous to us, to other people it's perfectly natural. Yeah, eating other people's bodies is gross, but it's happened before with some completely civilized societies. To some people's cultures killing a cow and eating meat is a huge taboo, and when people see us eating meat it makes them think "How could they be so savage?!". It all depends on your point of view and perspective.

Giving up your children to worship an "evil assassin god" is very morally wrong to us, but people have been giving up their children for causes all across the world for hundreds, if not thousands of years. It's not something completely odd.

Imperials sort-of remind me of the early colonists who destroyed plenty of cultures in Northern and Southern America to "civilize them". While at the same time there were functioning postal systems, brain surgeries, and communities of 9-14 million people all connected by advanced roads and trading networks. But they were too "different", and thus called savages.

It's the Dunmer and Altmer who're "pro-slavery", and the Empire did little to stop such a universally immoral act as that until recent Tamrielic times.

While I do like the Imperials, I can see where the other groups get sick of their attitude of having to change everyone to be more like themselves.

My favorite are khajiits, because they are just awesome lol. I love reading all of the different ingame books about them and talking to them in Morrowind and Oblivion. My second favorite is a tie between Imperials and Orcs.

Least favorite is Dunmer. I'm not personally all that interested in the lore behind them, and really didnt care at all about the main storyline of Morrowind. I also got really tired of being called outlander. :swear: haha. It got to the point where I developed a Hancock like reaction to the word. (Call me outlander.... one more time.....)

I also dislike Bosmer ingame but mainly only the males. They do have some pretty cool lore.

I don't hate any of the races.
I find Imperials least interesting although I play them more than Altmer, Argonians and Khajiit.
I find Bosmer most interesting and most playable.

I think the debate starting here kind of proves my point. It's debatable. Imperials can easily be seen as "savage".

Raiding people's homes, killing thousands for thier own causes, destroying cultures, assimilating people to thier way, and assuring thier way is the only way, assuring that people should only worship who they worship, the list goes on.

Sure, by Imperial standards, they may be seen as a civilised, unsavage society, but from the eyes of most of the other races of Tamriel, they're no better than a common Ogre. Orcs can often be seen as a less savage race than Imperials, when you look at things properly. A good sense of honour and duty is something Orcs are far superior than Imperials with.

All races can be compared with one another. You're going by stereotypes. Sure, there are savage Imperials, but it's not like they all are.

Nords are my favourites by far, though I'm biased.
Imperials are my least favourite, in game boring to play as (at least IMO), lore wise...well I don't like poeple who forceably convert poeple to their culture and religion.
