The 1st Crusade for Sentinel

Largrath eyed the two, then slowly stepped in, closing the door behind him. He set his blade on the wall, keeping his gauntlets on.

"I really hate being disturbed when I try to read. So, they have Khajiits on board?" Largrath hesitated a moment, "Dont do anything funny with my cat." Turning toward Robert, Largrath let out a sigh. He then gazed at the Khajiit.

"I heard you yelling about how he overheard our, coversation." Largrath said, smirking, "I can make sure he speaks no other words of it," he gestured toward "Wrath" which still had some steam rising from it. "or" Largath said in a calm tone, "he can be a advlt, and watch his own tongue. After all, I am sure he and us are great friends, right?" Largrath said, now glaring at the Khajiit.

"Because I am a very paranoid Dunmer, and can over react."

Edwinn was so entranced by the gentle sway of the boat and the sound of the waves being parted by the ship, that he didn't realize Bradon had sat down next to him, clearly bored, but once again showing his knight the utmost respect. It was only when the boy hit Edwinn leg from the swaying that the knight looked down, and remembered that the boy was there.

"Oh I'm sorry lad." he said, a sorry smile on his face. He ruffled the boys hair. "I won't be needing you, so if you want you can go explore a little." he offered, smiling, and noting the boys constant outwards glances.

"Just make sure your back in the room in a few hours." he instructed.

Bradon nodded eagerly, and started backing off, bowing low, a wide smile on his face before turning off in the other direction, pushing through the groups of people, head turning every way. He was looking specifically for the boy in the tavern, and as he neared the stairs to the hull, he spotted him, and gave an awkward sort of half wave, like he tried to stop waving in the middle of his wave. He hoped he had caught the boys attention, though he wasn't far from the boy.

ooc: William; need to give me a chance to react to your characters attempt at taking my character into his room with the throat thing :P

ic: Kenji sighed alittle, it was sudden and he didnt have much to react with, being pinned to the wall next to his door, a knife to his throat followed through with his hand gripping the arm that held the dagger, a small paralysis spell going through from him to the other male strong enough to make his arm go dead for a few minutes bot not strong enough to make him collapse. "Dont call me kitty boy breton." he said coldly and pushed the male back off him gently and looked at the Dark Elf. Obviously not pleased with the pair. Cracking his neck abit he relaxed "Now why not be more polite instead of being so brutal. One plans to kill Ocato, the other plans revenge." his tone suddenly darkened slightly getting abit of space between them He hated this kind of provocation and knew if his blood was smelt on the air his friend Kadarj would probably do some serious internal damage to the ship to kill his killers.

OOC: yeah sorry mate just he's very angry at the moment

IC:

Robert flipped his blade to his right, less used, hand and punched the wall that he had walked to, trusting Largrath enough to turn his back on the Khajiit for a moment.

'Fine' growled Robert taking his hood off 'I'll do this your way Khajiit, lives depend on your ability to keep your mouth closed, right now I don't think you have what it takes
we all know what'll happen to my associate if he's caught, and I've been chasing my quarry for too long for that to be taken away by you. But there is a silver lining' grinned Robert, his good humour returning 'you've been "fraternising" with treasonous, radical soon-to-be rebels, so if we go down, you go down with us. Can I, can we I mean, trust you?'

ooc: XD Its ok :P I liked it tho XD

ic: A small grin formed on his face "I despise Ocato, the Knights of the Nine and everything they resemble. The Old Empire was far better than this lump of Guar dung that we live in now. I myself do not worship the nine gods of Cyrodill. But the khajiiti Pantheon, Hircine and even look to the Dunmeri Pantheon in some cases I prefer to worship or follow. Hell Me and Kadarj are here to cause more trouble than good... So You can trust me pretty well"

Climbing out from the lower deck, Wilfred was just taking off his bascinet when he spotted the young boy from the tavern. Always eager for a chance to speak with anyone, even someone seven or so years younger as he figured, Wilfred was about to return the wave; however, Gaston's voice rang in his head: 'Heavy gesticulating is not suitable for a knight, nor for a would be knight, for it is a sign of bad oratorical abbilities, and a knight must aspire to excell in as many arts as possible.' Pondering for a split second whether this would count as 'heavy gesticulating', the young Breton finally decided that he'd best not risk it, and instead just nodded to the boy, brushing his way past several knights and squires to get to him. On the way, he got a few angry glances, and clearly heard one of the Knights of the Nine mutter 'Mercenaries...'. This made him smile; however, vary of offending the knight, Wilfred turned his head away as he did. The last thing Gaston needed now was his squire in trouble, and Wilfred too didn't want to shame himself in front of his master and so many knights by getting into an argument or worse yet, a duel with one or another rank-and-file knight.

"Quite the crowd here, huh?" Wilfred smiled after stopping next to the boy, taking a peek over his shoulder. No one seemed to pay him any more attention, good. A squire wasn't supposed to get a lot of attention, at least according to Gaston.

Elissandre, Anvil port, Zenithar's prosperity

As the khajit turned and ran, Elissandre couldn't hold a smile, a mixture of amusemant and satisfaction. Settled quick and neat. Let's just hope this moron won't bring his fellows around. Things could turn ugly if they do before we set sail. But I don't think he would be in much of a hurry to tell his boss he's been scared away by a gal one head shorter than him.

As she lost sight of the runaway khajit, Elissabdre started thinking about what she should do if they showed up in force.

IIf I spread fear among the whole lot of them, the spell won't be strong enough to scare them away. Not with just me facing them...

thinking a bit, she suddenly snapped her fingers as an idea came to her mind while she was reviewing her spells.

I can't make myself invisible while harassing them, but if they show up, I can easily turn the gangplank invisible. That should give them pause long enough for the embarking kinghts to get rid of them. They might not care about a lone thief, but a squad of them should make them act.

Markus turned around to see Mike emerging from the cargo hold. "Are the horses secure?" asked Markus.
"Yeah," Mike replied in his deep, rough voice "They're tied down with a decent length rope. They'll be able to reach the trough I set out for them."
"Good." Markus said. "And our supplies are all locked up?"
Mike nodded with a grunt.

Markus turned again to look at the Khajiits. The guards seemed to have just now become aware that there was a pack of illegal bounty hunters right in the middle of the port.

"Don't Move!" Markus heard on of the guards yell. In what seemed like a split second, more than a dozen guards appeared, surrounding the group of Khajiits. About seven or so crossbows were pointing at the big one.

"R'aamir," The guard captain addressed the big one. "Your wanted in four provinces under counts of murder, extortion, assault, grand theft, and racketeering. And I'm bringing you in." The captain motioned for his battlemage squad to come forth. One of the battlemages came up. He made a few complex motions with his hands, causing ropes to appear out of thin air and bind the criminals' hands.

"Wait!" one of the lackeys excaimed while struggling with the ropes. "What did we do?"

"Well of course you are all accomplices. You're going to prison just like he is." The captain called forth the rest of his squad. "Take the scum to the slammer. I don't want to see their disgusting faces again." The rest of the guards escorted the Khajiits to the prison.

On the boat, Markus went below deck to one of the empty cabins, smiling as he went.

Largrath nodded, "Very well. I guess we can all be par-" ((This is just so Will will have a excuse)) Suddenly, Largrath noticed Robert begin to sway about, then collapse. Raising a brow, Lagrath walked to him, pulling off one of his gauntlets.

"Pulse is fine... probaly stress, or drank somthing bad at the tavern." Largrath set his friend onto his shoulder. "If you wish to talk, head to my cabin." gesturing to his gauntlet on the floor, he added, "Put that on and bring my Claymore with us."

He then walked out of the room, Robert slung on his shoulder.

Elissandre, Zenithar's Blessing

Seeing the khajits gathering again, Elissandre kept a wary eye on them, feeling relieved as the watch finally showed up. Just about time. They were probably late and pefered to wait for a chance to bag he whole lot.

As if the capture of the khajits had been a signal, she heard the ship's captain bellowing orders, sending the crew into a flurry of activity as her ship set sail too, slowly leaving it's dock to follow the lead one. Here we go, no backing out now. Let's hope I can sway this whole business at least a bit, remind this army that there' more to the Nines than Stendarr's might and Talos's rule. The freedom of Kynareth, the beauty and love of Dibella, Mara's blesings, the wisdom of Julianos... We're Knights of the Nines, and shall respect them all.

While thinking her gaze drifted over the ship and its passengers, not exactly thrilled at what she saw. Most of the knights on board were eyeing her with what felt like contempt for her small size and shortsword. She sighed, the travel to Hammerfell would probably feel long. Very long. I really shouldn't have missed that first boat, it seems like this one has picked a fine lot of obnoxious blockheads who thing being big, strong and mean is all there is to being a knight. Maybe I'll be able to change ship on the way, after making sure my horse and mule are taken care of.

Kenji felt somewhat insulted by the dark elf's request. "Im not your servant. Only time I will take your weapon because you are carrying him." he spoke in an icey tone picking up both the gauntlet and the sword. Unaffected by their weight he followed the dark elf. "So what's your perogative about the rather bad quarters we have been supplied with" He asked making general pvssyr as to not spark unwanted attention.

Largrath set Robert on his bed with a sigh, "It is better then being chained. As far as I am concerned, let them give us the worst qaurters they got. As long as it is -there- quarters."

Gesturing for the equipment to be set on the wall, the Dunmer continued to speak, "This temple they speak of. I am only coming, so I can make sure nothing bad comes of it. I mean, if the Redguards built over it, then there must be a reason, and I am bound to find that out. From there, I stir up a revolution on Ocato, and we take him out of the picture. It is, a very long, complex plan."

Sitting on a chair, the Dunmer looked toward the Khajiit, "Anyways, how do you plan on taking care of Tamriels prolblem?"

"Quite the crowd here, huh?" Wilfred smiled after stopping next to the boy, taking a peek over his shoulder. No one seemed to pay him any more attention, good. A squire wasn't supposed to get a lot of attention, at least according to Gaston.

Bradon watched as the boy acknowledged him with a nod, and began making his way over to him. The boy stopped before him and spoke kindly with a smile, and Bradon smiled back and nodded. "Yes it certainly is." he replied smiling.

He stuck out his hand awkwardly, thinking that this was a perfect opportunity to make a new friend, and friends would be few and far between where they were going. "I'm Bradon Hearthton."

----------------

Edwinn watched with a smile as the boy walked away with a slight bounce in his step, and he couldn't help but be a little disappointed at how that inncocent smile might soon diappear with the things he was about to see.

He pushed himself up from the rail, sighing as me began to walk through the crowds, making his way back to his cabin, thinking to maybe catch a nap before dinner time. He walked slowly down the stairs, pressing himself up against the wall as a pair of people moved a large trunk up the stairs. He walked down the hall, barely noticing anything going on around him as he opened his door, frowning slightly at the lack of security.

He knew the ship was mostly goodly knights and their squires but the sailors might not be so honest, and there were many ways for a thief to smuggle themselves onto a ship. Especially in a port as busy as Anvil at the moment.

He plopped down on his bed, lying on his back, as he drifted into a sleep, the gentle swaying of the boat calming him.

"Wilfred Valois." Wilfred shook Bradon's hand firmly, although it felt a bit awkward, since his palm was that much larger than the boy's. Wilfred was mostly a grown man, the only thing that he lacked being experience, however he already had some dreams - Gaston frequently took part in tournaments back in High Rock, and Wilfred would always watch the jousts and melees with much enthusiasm, regardless of whether it was his master fighting or not. It seemed to him to be the most noble occupation after war, a sign that Gaston's rather strict adhering to the rules of chivalry was rubbing off on him - after all, the true knight lived for battle, and when there were no battles to be fought, tournaments were where most knights would be found.

"So I'm guessing your master is a Knight of the Nine? I recall having seen you both back in the tavern."

Looking around the khajiit placed the equipment where it was meant to go and then sat down against the wall. He thought deep for a moment "Ocato stays in power because of these Knights, his seer who some insiders tell of has the mans ear. His power base is based largely around them. When the legion was disbanded many weren't happy and have stayed in many provinces where they can live and hate the Empire. If you were to eliminate ocato's power base, crush his will or destroy his image to the Empire it would eventually topple." he replied rubbing his neck.

Largrath nodded, "Smart. I have a more... dangerous plan in mind. First, I am going to get a rousing from the Redguards, giving away all of these so called knights bases and camps. Then, I plan on help leading the Redguards through Cyrodil, so we can reach the Imperial City and take down Ocato."

Largath then smiled, "You know. We are on a ship, filled with Knights of the Nine, and yet here we are, talking about taking out the ruler of Tamriel himself. Maybe we can start a rousing on this very ship!"

'Hah' coughed Robert having woken from his unconsciousness ' you think that you could convince any of these fundamentalist knights to support our cause, by Julianos I'm surprised you got the two of us!
But I guess it can't hurt we just have to make sure that they'll join us before we ask them, I don't wan't to kill anyone except for those thrice-damned bandits.'

After a coughing fit Robert added in his now sickness addled, gravelly voice 'Also we need a name.'

((Welcome back.))

Largarth nodded, "Glad to see you are up. As for a name.. how about... The Septims? I mean, back then we thought the legion was bad, but this? It is only a mater of time before Ocato renames our money. The name will make people think of the old days."

'Well we are your rebellion Largrath and as such it is your idea you may name us however you want, I do believe that name will demoralise our enemies
and rally the common folk to our cause but that effect will certainly be lost if we lead Redguards through the heart of our own country killing those whom have sworn to protect them.'

There must be a non-violent way to end this We will never be accepted if we arrive in the Imperial City leading a militia force of Redguard "heathens" Argghhh why did I look at that damned sword!

The handshake served as a reminder to Bradon as to who was the older one here, and therefore who likely had more experience as a squire. He felt slightly smaller then, but he also realized that this could be a chance to learn some things from an older, fellow squire.

"Pleased to meet you Wilfred Valois." Bradon replied smiling. "Yes, my master, Sir Edwinn Paurand is a Knight. One serving the Eight and One." he said proudly, thinking very highly of his master. He thought back to the tavern, and remembered that Wilfreds master didn't wear any markings of the Nine. Not that he could see anyways.

"Is your master a Knight of the Nine as well?" he asked, glancing around, attempting to stay out of the way.
