The Adoring Guidance Counselor?

Post » Sat Jun 11, 2011 6:10 pm

So I was thinking it would be really sweet if Bethesda made a companion called "The Adoring Guidance Counselor."
This character would nurture you, and guide you through the ruggedness of Skyrim.

For example:

When you are following your beacon, some refer to it as the "Quest Marker," your AGC (Adoring Guidance Counselor) will constantly remind you of the importance of the task at hand, and how absolutely swell you are doing. When you are engaged in combat, the AGC will try to help you find an alternative to fighting. They should be very supportive of you regardless of whether or not you decide to retaliate against your assailant.

Bethesda will additionally need to incorporate a hand holding feature,
so as to absolutely remove any chance of your character losing his way.

If your character starts to get cold, the AGC would remove their armor, or fur to assist you.

What do you think?
Should Bethesda go through with this wonderful idea?

I am so happy to find a group of well minded people!
I unfortunately am an Xbox user, so I will be otherwise unable to construct this mod.

Only if they add in the much-desired dragon toot.... "SPREAD SHEE TEE!!!"

It turns you and every character around you into flat cartoon animations that wobble around farting lighting bolts.

I initially understood the OP as sarcasm, but the responses are causing me to second guess myself.

I'd like to add something else:

Every time that your character wakes up, the AGC would help you dress, and will cook you a nice warm breakfast.
When your character is going to rest or go to sleep, the AGC will bring your character chamomile tea, and will read aloud a book in your inventory of your choosing.

Is this supposed to be hand holding like Fable? Or annoying navigation like fairy from Zelda?
