Just you wait until we set out and Emeline, by virtue of being the party's only dedicated spellcaster, has to play healer. It'll be full of horror and barely resisted urges to amputate limbs to reanimate them
I'm wondering just how powerful her destruction magic is though? Would she be able to beat an orcish warrior 1 vs 1? Or a high elf / breton / dunmer mage in a 1 vs 1 situation? (before draining her magicka pool completely that is?)
Her Destruction magic is more of an auxilary skill for her since she prefers to run away or put as many walking corpses between herself and a potential threat as she can before getting involved herself. If she absolutely had to, she might maybe be able to off that Orcish warrior - when combining Destruction with her slightly worse skill at Illusion. If, for whatever reason, she couldn't get the split-second advantage confusing an enemy with illusions affords her, or had to square up against a fellow mage, she'd probably be toast. Necromancy consumes much of her study time and thus most wizards with a more balanced skillset would be able to beat her by virtue of being less susceptible to Illusion than your common warrior-type. She's definitely not the gung-ho adventuring staff-slinger kind of mage.
If it was a more corpse-filled environment that the battle took place in, however, it would quickly become 2 vs 1, at least temporarily (no matter how loathe she is to 'waste good bodies' by overcharging them with field reanimation that later leaves just a pile of ash left), which gives her an edge. And maybe she'll have a chance to cook up a more permanent undead companion to carry her baggage and moan at what enemies might cross our brave adventurers' path somewhere along the way, who knows.

I'm debating whether or not Varian should continue with his plan of bumming brandy off of Cato, or if his Damsel Sense could start tingling and he should step in with Emeline. What's more convenient for all of you guys?
The 'not an action wizard' is why Emeline was chosen for this RP, seeing as we're supposed to be a bit crap It was either her or a healing maid of Stendarr, seeing as I'm expecting us to be cut up and bruised quite a bit, in other words - spiritual healing versus cold hard anatomy. Unfortunately for the other five, I went with the one that has knowledge of the body many healers could envy, but isn't used to patients who have any senses left.
As for the situation in the inn, I certainly wouldn't be averse to a bit of chivalric interference (seeing as that's what Eme hopes to provoke with her act, after all), the whole point of this little bit of drama is after all to hopefully attract us into a single spot. But do whichever would be the more urgent matter to him, I won't be at a loss without more attention. Oh no, I'm not looking for that at all, no attention seeking here...
(but look at me, my character's the only mage, I'm speciaaal)

Let's just say that if some other characters suddenly followed after Cato, Rob would jump out of the window with haste. So if your characters are coming upstairs, wait for 1-2 posts between Cato and Rob first.
I think we can move to Afternoon. This way it makes more sense that some of you have posted "it was getting late", compared to midday? Also, that way my character could've gotten a few hours sleep as well
So if you guys agree to let me join, I guess it would be best if I bring my character in later. Maybe when your characters have had to leave Skingrad or something?

Or something, yeah. Not sure how many days that'll take though.
I was joking I doubt it would be any fun being the lackey of my character. It is a thankless job and when you think about what the job involves it is grossly underpaid.
I don't care. I love playing the fools in RP's! And the jerks that no one likes too....
Well I wasn't specifically talking about being your underman with a werid limp Just something in that direction, working for the same cause. For example, Kalamari could be the spy character we discussed? Otherwise we'll stick to the original plan, where your character will have almost 0 interaction with other characters.
Please...let me do this. I love writing for foolish characters. I wouldn't mind having my character be a lacky..
Could have him complain about his boss all the time!

We'll have to ask the others, and most importantly AyumiFan. *asks the rest and AyumiFan*
Edit: I think our characters will need some sort of encouragement to leave Skingrad, and do so together. How about having AyumiFan's character enter the city, put up wanted posters with all 6 characters name on it and a rough drawing of how they look + the crimes they've been charged of (some true, some not true)?

Or the little ruckus with Emeline and Hector could attract the attention of the guard, who'd then notice that hey, that's the thief we were chasing, and why is that man coming down from the stairs if he was refused a room? Obviously they're all criminals and we should lock the lot of them up then sort them out later.
At which point our characters, guided by righteous pride, the logical realisation that they wouldn't be let go anytime soon or (in Emeline's case) an overbearing paranoia related to the involvement of any sort of government institutions, would bravely run away, forced into an alliance of convenience by simply being bunched together under the same label whether they like it or not. And then Lieronymus Hex may or may not show up and conclude that this is irrefutable proof we're a dangerous and well-coordinated gang and must be caught.

Yeah my bad for not realizing it earlier... I hope I got all the Breton parts there, and didn't accidentally remove any Breton word that was related to my character hehe.
I'm fine with what ever way we decide to leave. It would take something like that to cause my character enough anger/annoyance that he finally leaves Skingrad lol.
From that last comment, "You'd defend a necromancer? You're a fool to believe this devil cloaked in human flesh.", I'd say the guards will soon intervene
Bleh, I edited some of the wording of what Cato said, as it just sounded stupid. Not a big change, but since it's part of your post too, Gorbad, I figured I would let you know.
