Your argument holds no water, the animations are probably the best I've ever seen, and that says a lot. When people turn around, their footing works accordingly. Same with running, and swinging a sword. Many people would agree with me that these animations are perfectly fine.
Don't believe me? Make a poll and see who likes and who doesn't like the new animations.
What would a poll regarding people liking the animations do to prove whether the animations are the best you've ever seen? And if these are the best you've seen, you don't play games, simply put. There's another game coming out of Bethesda's corner which has animations light years ahead of what's in Skyrim.
then, why did you even bother creates an ID here if you're just going to say 'nein! nein! nein! nein! nein! nein!'
You know it shows the join date to the left of a users post? So, uh, yeah. What's being said nein to? I think you meant to direct that towards the people who are resisting the fact that the animations are poor. Those are the ones who don't want to see improvement because they feel a psychological urge to be apologetic for whatever Bethesda does.
Mass Effect 1 did have acceptable animations, but it was also comparable (maybe slightly better) to Oblivion's animations. I didn't notice much of a difference in animation quality for Mass Effect 2 either. I can't understand how you would say the current Mass Effect games have acceptable animations, but Skyrim doesn't. The animations in Skyrim are better than Oblivion's and current Mass Effect games.
No, Skyrim's animations are not better than Mass Effect 2's. Youtube can exemplify this with ease.
I guess it's pretty clear that a majority of users believe that the graphics are indeed a great leap between Oblivion and Skyrim. I agree, considering how they've admitted that they're squeezing the last bit of the console's usage.
Hey, I believe that too. That doesn't contradict my OP.
Yeah, because you have such an in-depth knowledge of it. Stop preaching about your view on the development, and just accept that it look far better than anything that has come before in Beth's gaming history. And I would say it now keeps pace with most in game animations today. And that's saying something considering the size of the game and the sheer amount of information that is required to create everything else, apart from the animations.
Get a grip, and try and show some respect.
Yes, I do have a knowledge of it, whereas you don't know a thing about it. Heck, you thought animations were the product of the game engine. Get into 3d modelling and learn a bit about animations yourself. Now, in what regards should I show respect and who should I show it to? An ignorant toddler such as yourself? And in what sense is critiquing poor animations not showing respect? Sorry, you've got a long way to go in maturity.
