What most people don't realize is that not only is the Legion a necessary evil, but so is the NCR. After all, if the Legion ceased to exist, the NCR would annex Vegas. If the NCR ceased to exist, hardly any money would be flowing into Vegas and the Legion would swiftly conquer it. By engaging in constant conflict with one another, they each check the other's power. As long as they are in a forced stalemate, the true savior of Vegas and the human race, Mr. House, can prepare for his power play to make Vegas a force to be reckoned with. So, despite their flaws, both the NCR and Legion are essential to humanity's progress. To put in terms Caesar might use, the Legion is the thesis, the NCR is the antithesis, and House's Vegas is the synthesis.

I dunno if he's a hypocrite though, the removal of medicine is meant to strengthen the Legion and the Auto-Doc is used as a grand gift to those who perform well.

Really, Caesar's Legion if it manages to survive the death of Caesar might well start reforming and continue to change tribals into people part of a singular mono-culture.

Dont worry your doing the Mojave a good deed. I have done both a Legion playthrough and NCR playthrough and I think that I liked the NCRs ways of governing better than the Legions ways. Legion was way too brutal and ruthless. After I did the Legion playthrough I reloaded an old save and shot up The Fort and Cottonwood Cove... again. :gun:

Nah, you will have much tougher time when you are attacking NCR. It's called public service.

Other than wallowing in ignorant self-righteousness, your playthrough will be just fine. Claiming to have the moral high ground over the Legion and then killing them for it is just another form of barbarism.

At least I'm not crucifying them and putting their heads on sticks.

Status update, I found more crucified bodies at Cottonwood Cove. After I wiped out the encampment, of course. Boone seems to have a really good time with it. I took the boat out to the Fort, and wiped out the few Legionnaire's before the main encampment. I have a feeling I'm in for a fight when I go in there.

And to the person who mentioned doing the bidding of the NCR, I do not believe I am doing so. I would have been doing this regardless of their feelings. I still have not joined a faction, and if I can have my way, I will not join any at all. I'm just not sure if that's possible or not yet because I haven't gone that far in to that portion of the game as of yet.

I have to say good job because you're giving the Legion what they deserve, a cap in the ass.

You should be killing the Legion and NCR. They're both bad for New Vegas. But dont listen to Mr. House, he's bad too. You can only trust yourself. As Marcus, in Borderlands, would say, "Dont know who to trust? You can always trust the gun at your side." So down with NCR, down with the Legion, down with Mr. House!!!

Perhaps, but he's a hell of a lot tougher then Caesar. The stories you hear about him on the radio... He might not be able to lead the Legion like Caesar did, but he'll put up a hell of a fight. So, my advice, go destroy the NCR now!!! They allowed what happened at Nipton and Nelson to occur!!! They are just as responsible as the legion!!!

The NCR are far more better than the Legion..they have realistic views and ideas..unlike the Legion.

And yet they fail to live up to them. Caesar's Legion might not have the most liked views and ideas, but they at least fulfil them. They dont stumble over politics and crap. The NCR allowed what happened at Nipton, Cottonwood Cove and Nelson. They need to be punished for this. And who's been watching this all happen and not bothering to help anyone? Mr. House! He's the worse of them all! He has all this power, but refuses to help anyone!

Dont blam Cottonwood cove on the NCR nor nelson. Ceaser doesnt even live up to the real roman ideas and views hes such a hypocrite and he contradicts himself.

True, but where he has conquered is more peaceful then where the NCR has. They are both wrong! But what about Mr. House? He has an army of robots, but he refuses to help anyone! He could help protect the people of New Vegas, but he refuses to. NCR, Legion and Mr. House should all be destroyed.
