I just bought FONV. I came to a town called Nipton and saw what the Legion had done. I am now actively hunting down and killing any Legion swine without mercy or fail.

This is my first play through, so please try not to spoil it for me. My question is this. Is what I'm doing to those worthless bastards going to somehow make the game impossible for me to complete?

AHH i love your sentiment there i myself have found that the best use for a Legion soldier is fertilizer. It seems that because of the indoctrination of usless [censored] callled legion dogma that the average Legion soldier makes excelent fertilizer. I have 4 completed characters working number 5 right now, in all of the plays except the obligatory needed a Caesar sympathizer one, i have spent considerable time at a reloading bench crafting just that "just OH so special round" to put the rabid legionaire down. I am also pretty cruel about how they die as well preffereing to blow an arm or a leg off, or shootem in the groin so they die slowely and in pain, just to grant them a bit of insight into the hell on earth they are responsble for creating and a precursor to the fires of hell they soon shall be immersed in. Good luck trooper, may your aim be true and your adversaries live and die (dying being preffered) in fear of you.

And finally, the Legion embraces slavery and turning women into pvssyl as cornerstones of their "society" and therefore need to be destroyed. But said destruction will be quick and clean. Caesar will die via shot to the head, as will his Legate. As have all his legionaries. Any that surrender will be granted amnesty, and treated as well under the auspices of the law s any NCR citizen, including Caesar and his Legate.

Why are you hunting the Legion for what they did at Nipton? You should be helping the Legion for what they did there. Nipton was a town full of corrupt [censored]s who did nothing but plague the Mojave. They deserved nothing less than what they got. You should be hunting down the NCR not Legion.

Since NCR was playing takeover in Mojave it should have been their job to close down Nipton.
What did they do?
Ignore it.
Since it isn't exactly a high priority target the NCR couldn't give a rats ass over it.
And if they did, what would happen?

Hell, Legion's course of action was the best one taken.
And their barbaric methods were used as tactics to scare NCR caravans and troopers coming in from Cali, to lower morale. (Which works.)

I love you Legion supporters, proof positive that fancy dresses, a society that values people based entirely upon thier genetallia, and is willing to keep slaves will appeal to some LCDs. The legion offers NOTHING, just in case you missed that i will say it again, the Legion offers NOTHING, as the entire Legion society is based around the premise that life has NO value. As a matter of fact since this is the primary belief of the people in the Legion i do feel that it is my duty to carry out thier wishes as often and as cruelly as i can. As all of my characters are female the irony is delicious, a female who by all of the legion dogma is supposed to be inferior can and does kick the living [censored] out of the legion and thier supporters at every turn, and if given half a chance will put a serious spank and gank on the ultimate posur Caesar. Life has no value to the Legion, and who am i to argue that point so i seek them out turning over many rocks in the Mohave and on ocasion will find some Legion scum clinging to the bottom of a freshly overturned stone. Nope sorry the Legion is evil personified, who wants to add to the hell the Mohave already is, sorry i can not and will not abide that.

Yes they do deserve it. What do thieves, prosttutes and drug addicts have to offer? Nothing. They are low life scum who would do anything for a few caps. The Legion doesn't believe in giving pathetic humans second chances and I don't either. The [censored]s at Nipton deserved to die. What would the NCR of done to them? Locked them up in a prison were they will eventually be released or even escape. It uses up resources keeping low life's imprisoned/enslaved. The Legion is smart instead of wasting time and effort in keeping low lives alive they kill them which solves the problem a lot quicker. And crucification is more to intimidate the NCR and to send a warning to the rest of the low lives in the Mojave, you continue your pathetic lifestyle you'll end up on a cross. The Legion is something to admire, people just need to see it.

Gonna stop you right there, I am an NCR supporter, but i dont let my bias get in the way of fact. Legion is better at protecting their people than NCR, better and making their territory safe, better at promoting clean and uncorrupted businesses, and offer better training to their soldiers, albeit those soldiers are not used in the best manner, they are happy to be used at all, due to the loyalty they have, due to them being true to Caesar.
