I and many others were really hoping for an arena in the game, and when I did see one, I was happy beyond belief. However, I am kind of saddened that it was such an afterthought. The first reason why is evident as soon as you encounter the arena. You walk up to the guy at the gate and you simply say "Hey can I fight in the arena." and without hesitation he goes "LOL OK." There is no buildup in rank or reputation or anything. You are thrown into an incredibly easy fight with two slaves. Then, after two more incredibly easy fights, I talk to the gate guy once more to hear him say "NOBODY IS WILLING TO CHALLENGE YOU. THEY'RE TOO AFRAID." Are you serious? 3 fights? Not only that, I did the 3 fights without dying once on my NON-COMBAT character. He has 3 endurance 3 strength and 8 melee. Anyone else disappointed by this? I'm hoping for a mod or something.

I think this may be another aspect they never really finished. There are chunks of the game that seem incomplete, or very short. Like they started it but then were like, naw, and never removed it. Like the Wrangler, if you gamble, you get no comps, and theres no floor manager, you just get a message saying 'you won too much, leave'.
