First off, what does this have to do with Skyrim? Morrowind was more or less destroyed when the Ministry of Truth crashed, caused Red Mountain to errupt, essentially destroying the Dunmer society set up there. The Argonians swept in and took a dead land. What's the problem?

Well, because we might be hearing about these problems in SKyrim due to the time that it is taking place, It might actually.

The Argonians were just waiting like vultures... can't really blame them though. the Dunmer has been disgracing the argonian race and they struck while the iron was hot.

The Dunmer will rise again... maybe with some more civil views on slavery however.

This topic has to do with Skyrim because SKyrim shares a border with Morrowind and whatever is happening in Morrowind is bound to have an effect on parts of skyrim

This is exactly what gave me the idea for the mod I'm making for Skyrim..
An outpost of the Argonian Clan named Ironhide in Cyradillic, coming over from Morrowind..
The clan being one of the prominent weapon forges for the Argonian armies.

Dunmer had it coming.

Quite true.. Being that the Dunmer just waltzes into the Black Marsh, enslaving entire clans.. It's about time that they striked back.

Wait a minute... This is a bit off topic, but is the Attrebus mentioned in the OP's link named after the moderator on the forums, or is it the other way around...?

I really can't wait to hear about Morrowind in Skyrim since it's 200 years later and the Dunmer haven't appeared to have done anything to take back their land.

Yet.

Not ALL the dunmer have left is sothielism (sp)!! just any survivors in Vvardenfell went there. They still have many parts of Morrowind's mainland. It's not like a country in the board game "Risk", where once you invade the land you own ALL of it. it's more like trying to conquer/maintain continents on the board game "Risk" but with even more divisions of the continent.

and yeah, for the games sake, i'm sure the dunmer will not go extinct or anything.

The other way around. Attrebus was originally a character from Redguard. [/offtopic]

Attrebus the mod was here way before the book was made, and as Yasgur mentioned, Attrebus the NPC came before the mod.

No, the argonians really did clear off Morrowind. Got as far north as the ruins of Vivec city. At this point, the only dunmer around are only found in Solstheim, Skyrim, and Cyrodiil. Morrowind is pretty much under the grasp of the argonians and the Hist.

Judging by how there's a dunmer village in Skryim, either the dunmer like the colder climates, or they have yet to go back to Morrowind. My bet is on the latter.

Also to note, mer breed slowly, along with becoming of fertile age at an older age than humans. They're not going to recover to full strength in 200 years. To put it perspective, humans pretty much breed like bunnies compared to mer, with the probable exception of the orsimer.

Yes they are.

EDIT: @Above Hellmouth, they may have conquered that far north but I dont think that all the Dunmer have left or been killed in Morrowind.

hm, i heard king helseth was still around though after the invasion and that he still had some power. Wouldn't he of been hung/overthrown?

and can you provide a link to anything that says what you say happened? because IIRC the argonians haven't secured ALL of Morrowind.
^key word "secured"
