[RELz] The Arsenal

Post » Sun May 15, 2011 5:13 pm

Thanks mate! I have to admit that due to my work on this I haven't spend much time on region creation for Tamriel Heightmaps. Nevertheless I believe that these weapons can be put to good use to add variety to the provinces. :foodndrink:

...absolutely

maybe it would be a good idea to provide some unique levelled lists for people using this as a modders resource for their mods...you could have a list for orc mercenaries for example including all this fine brutal stuff

A very good idea and something that is easy to implement! We'll create several lists based on location, faction and race. :foodndrink:

Another rather big update: In version 2 all weapons will be balanced to MOBS standard, which is good news for the many OOO/FCOM and Frans users.

Both the Falcata and the Kukri had their textures slightly updated, see the bottom of the main post for screenshots!

Cheers,

StarX

Excellent work guys! Always a pleasure to view your creations. :)

@ StarX It's fantastic to see how you've progressed as a modder over the last few years. I remember responding to your request for the Dwarven anti vampire arrow a couple of years back. I can't imagine you'd have trouble with that these days!

Heya mate! It has been a while! :foodndrink:

Thanks for the heads up, I learned a lot about making custom textures from scratch. Your Dwemer syringe arrow is still used in StarX Vanilla Vampires Revised which has had a major update a short while ago.

Cheers!

No, that's Feldscar. Faregyl is near the Inn of Ill Omen.

Is that near the Lake of Ill Omen? :)

Waiting for when I can use this with Faregyl.

I'm not looking forward to creating that patch :lmao:

v2 will be a rather big update, v1.0 had around 12 weapons, v2 is currently close to double that and we have some more stuff already planned :D

I'm unsure what T.I.E does so I'm not sure about what issues there could be

were their any plans on replacing the default weapons with these newer ones. especially getting rid of the godawful warhammers. its hard to go from mount and blade warbands weapons to oblivions "anime" weapons now.

Uhm, of course it will work with TIE. You can just use the shop after all. Not sure if TIE rebalances the weapons, so that could bring up some strange differences in weapon stats. But it's pretty obvious that the leveled list part that will be optional in version 2 will not play nicely alongside TIE, so that is the part that would need to be patched. Hence my previous responce.

Nope, no plans for a vanilla replacement.

Thanks John! :foodndrink:

@squeekers: Just to clarify to avoid confusion: I did very little on those blades, except altering the alphachannels on the normalmaps in a very early stage of Realswords/WAC. The rest was all Waalx work. :)

News on Wac? Well, last time I heard from Waalx a little while ago is that he's still working on it, I guess we all have to be patient.

StarX and IS - Is it OK to add your excellent mod as part of John's Excellent Levelled List Overhaul (JeLLO) - I am not sure if you folks and Johnn123 have spoken to each other about this, as it would then take only 1 esp slot, and JeLLO already has a ton of cool weapon/armor mods added into leveled lists...
