Im playing Oldrim and just got the book "The Auetherim Wars" and im not getting the quest after reading it was wondering if theres level requirement...im level 8

I think it might be level 10.


Double check your Misc quests, and if you see "Investigate the ruins of Arkngthamz" than you already have the quest started.

I don't think there's a level requirement for it to show in the log - I normally go pick up the book in Farengar's study at level 1, and "Investigate the ruins of Arkngthamz" shows up instantly. It might not actually work if you try to start at level 1 - don't know, never tried it.

You can simply go into Arkngthamz and activate the woman's body, the quest will kick in regardless.

Probably best to read the book right away. People have glitched the quest before by picking up an aetherium shard at other Dwemer dungeons before they got to they got to that one.
