As much as I'm looking forward to Skyrim and as cool as the background is, the Nordic guy in the background representing the protagonist of Skyrim alone does not represent the Elder Scrolls series. It's very fitting in the Skyrim section, specifically, but the fact that it can be seen throughout the entire Elder Scrolls section doesn't make much sense, to me. It's as if the rest of the series doesn't matter, or something such as that.

Maybe that's because Skyrim is the newest Elder Scrolls game coming out, and Bethesda is focusing on it rather than the others.

I wish they'd go back to the old Elder Scrolls theme and incorporate the Nord into the banner. Perhaps get a less disgusting parchment texture this time as well.
