... Forsworn don't attack me while I'm wearing it.

Really? I've never actually received it - as I can never stand the idea of helping Madanach.

Are you sure they simply aren't attacking you because of the fact that they now like you? (due to you getting all friendly with their king)

I wouldn't really know, because as I said, I always shiv that raspy turd the second I get the chance.

Well... lol... there *is* a way to avoid *helping* him. I didn't want to help him either, so when we got out of the prison I just watched the carnage and let all the Forsworn die. The guards didn't attack me. Hehehehe... forsworn dummies.

Anyway, it looks like it's 50/50. I've walked right through two Forsworn camps and was able to communicate with some of the thugs in it. Then in others I've been attacked. Not sure why it seems to be working sometimes and not others.

Oh I see, you got the armor and pulled one over on him. Good stuff ;)

Then that's just straight up bizarre that the Forsworn seem to have a mixed opinion of you.

Maybe the seperate camps are not on good communication terms, and only some of them are aware of your treachery.

I'm personally happy having all of those hill-people psychopaths knowing how much I dislike them :bunny:

Lol. Next to the Falmer, the Forsworn are my favourite meat targets. So, yeah, it's disappointing they won't fight. I'm testing my theory out. Right now I'm standing amongst a group of at least ten Forsworn just south of Broken Tower Redoubt. It has to be the helm. These people would ordinarily try and carve me up. I'm going to try and walk up to a Briar Heart.

^ Hey, good luck man.

Try standing amidst them and then taking the helm off - see if they go bananas

This could potentially be a strategic advantage you have here.

Build up their trust, then knock 'em dead.

This is crazy? Has anyone else tried this? I was just chillin' with a gang of Forsworn when I noticed a couple of other figures in the dark. Thinking they were more of my Forsworn acquaintances, I walked up to them. Instead they were orc hunters. Each drew their weapons when I got too close (up in their faces) and gave me a warning. I backed off, they resheathed, then I got in their faces again until they attacked resulting in their quick demise. Did they think I was a Forsworn?

So, I found a Briar Heart and walked up to him. He attacked me. I'm going to unveil my true identity to the gang at the too of the hill like you suggested and see what happens. I don't understand this at all!

if you save Madanach, his tribe will not attack you and will be friendly toward you, helmet or not. all the others will still hate you though. That might be why some are attacking you while some are not.

Don't worry about those Orc hunters.

They are a random encounter that I have come across numerous times before, and they are supposed to be hostile (who knows why).

You'll usually find them around the corpse(s) of some animal - protecting their kill, I guess.

I've also noticed that occasionally some NPCs are just straight up oblivious (in reference to your Forsworn friends), taking WAY longer to recognize that they don't like me.

But then again, who knows. See what happens w/out the helm of the old gods.
