The balance after the patch....

IMO the patch helped balance combat if you start a new player in a few different ways. Imo ammo costing a lot more forces you to really be more selective on what weapons you carry. The effects of the higher ammo prices seem to last awhile, unless one boosts their barter really high really fast. If one does boost barter they are then forced not to put as many skill points in guns or ew. I guess this wouldn t apply so much to good melee only builds.

Also the reduced spread and higher fire rate of some weapons, plus other weapon tweeks made have givin the NPCs a better chance to do dam. Im not sure if cl benefited at all, because Im on their side this play through

Im pretty sure it won t make a difference to an Uber Tank God, but it seems the road to Uberness is a little harder after the patch.IMO...... I like it.

What do the fo fourm faithful think?

Umm im not to sure. But you SHOULDNT have a problem getting money like really. I like that some guns have been improved and it does help the combat. It makes the enemies a bit more tougher and challenging.

Money slightly harder early on if you aren't a gambler/card player (which I'm not), but not much different in the long run (eg, lvl5-8 and beyond).

Weapon tweaks made combat occasionally more difficult if the npc's are equipped with any of the altered weapons....and if they actually manage to hit you. If you're a sneaky-sniper or just a plain awesome shot (in or out of VATS) who rarely gets close enough for anyone to land many hits, well, then, it's probably not going to seem any more difficult at all.
