The Benefits of Elder Scrolls

Hey,

I'm interested in those that replay the Elder Scrolls. Like I usually get 40 hours in and decide I'd like to do something different and am often surprised by the replayability of the elder scrolls series. Like there's enough there to keep most punters interested!

I did this with Oblivion and with Morrowind.....only discovered Morrowind in the last few years .....like how did I miss that one but oh well.....still with Skyrim....you need like 40 hours I reckon to get a good idea of the levelling system in these games and by then your savvy with what is going on...... Curiously.....i've done the same thing with Skyrim....forty hours in and I'm starting it all again!

It's like watching that same movie over and over to some extent....sure you've seen it before but with Skyrim it's a little different just by how you do your character.....and I like the Perk system....but miss those stats :(.....

Yep, I replayed the crap out of Morrowind, not so much Oblivion but I intend to go back to Oblivion and kick it over again. With PC editions there is always a wealth of content to get through with mods etc
I also have the Morrowind faction mentality where I don't have a single character be the head of the Mages, Thieves, Dark Brotherhood and Warriors ... just one, maybe two with the Brotherhood.

With 1.2 breaking elemental resistances I stopped playing my Argonian Swamp-Witch (I either wasted them or got wasted, there was no middle-ground) and rolled out with a Orc: 2-handed, heavy armour, little bit of resto and alteration. With 1.3 fixing resistances I am back with the Argonian but recently found an Orc stronghold - they told me to take a hike but I immediately wanted to jump in with my Orc and go make some friends ... sooooon.

In addition to them I still have a pure-mage and a shifty, lying, bow-hugging thief bastard to play. Not every one of them will complete the main questline but the different play-styles flavour the content and there is so much to do.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. You don't "beat" an Elder Scrolls game, you live it.
