I don't think the OP ment which titles you rank the best and worst. Of coarse their pretty vague. Seemingly namely the best and worst aspects of your opinion for I guess 3 and New Vegas or the series as a whole.
Admittedly also I liked 3 as a whole better than Tactics. Although both obliterate the shoot em up FO that must not be named.
Best of Fallout 1?: Everything
Oh yeah and Bethesda? I could undermine every non-Master faction and choose to join him at the end of the game.
Dismantling BoS is pretty fun in 1 though truthfully even with(spoiler) the Broken Steel option in 3 I never obliterated their base. Obviously more likable if generic good guys.
But again. Plenty of options.
What happened to those for 3. And all those endings.
Worst: Whatever our demi-Gods Tim Cain, Leonard, Anderson, etc. didn't get to due to time/resources.
I did feel like JE Sawyer that making certain combat skills pretty useless until end-game when the weapons gotten with them appeared/could be bought was perhaps not the best thing to do.
Not the aspect of a certain skill not fully balancing with another i.e. Energy and Small/Big Guns and weapons between them matching similary with slight differentiation at every "tier" which is what NV attempted.
I'm not against some skills topping out the other in the end, assuming those weapons have a reason to be powerful. Or PA being semi-God Mode.
However I thought an attempt should of been made back in late 97'/Whenever you played FO1 to hint out in the beginning that plasma and laser weapons were not very viable until mid to late game through. Especially on a 1st playthrough.
