The best armor according to Skyrim guards is...

Post » Mon Dec 05, 2011 3:18 am

A knee armor... It seems every single damned guards in Skyrim used to be an adventurer and an arrow in the knee ended their adventuring days... every single one!!! What's up with that? Did one day every hold in Skyrim made an announcement that they're recruiting new guards? But that they HAD to be an ex-adventurer whose carrer ended because of an arrow shot to the knee? And were they surprise when tons and tons of people came to answer the call O.o... And why isn't there a Knee-guard shop? The owner would be filthy rich from all the adventurers that would buy them because... well you know it, got shot in the knee and there goes your adventuring days...

(Wouldn't it be funny though if someone make a mod that when you get shot in the knee, your character instantly changed to a city guard lol... le sigh... so go get your knee guard because that's the best piece of armor you can get in skyrim!!!)

Yeah being a city guard standing up 24/7 is a much better career choice when taking an arrow to the knee.

Now I think we're being duped here, I think it's the same guard who works at different towns (you can't see their face, right?) so he's cashing in numerous paychecks from different towns while claiming disability at the same time!!

Bah! That's just the excuse they all use for staying safe behind the city walls, while you're out braving the wilds.

its all those 'dwindling bow of knee sapping' bows that the cheeky bandits have been making, gotta watch them, as, if the bandits a bad aim or the wind is picking up, the arrow can get you in a more 'unpleasant' place..............

I don't get why they would choose to be a guard in Skyrim, they dont get to call people "criminal scum!". Cyrodiil guards are the best!

They are all lying to sound tough, they also use it to pick up girls. Try it, take your bow and shoot them in the knees. Not only do they not complain about their knees, they run just fine.
