The best dagger ever .....

Speaking of BoW, does anyone know what "class" it is, upgrade-wise? Daedric, Ebony?

The BoW doesn't require anything to upgrade though it looks like it would be ebony from the art style of it, but, yeah, it's either a bug or an oversight but you can upgrade it with no ingots.

No one thinks Keening is? It's complete Unique and has alot of backstory to it. Plus it looks faaaaaaantastic.

Is that really in the game? what about sunder and wraithguard?

Question to people saying they upgraded Mehrunes' Razor: Friend of mine claims he cant upgrade it despite having 100 smithing. I KNOW he's wrong, I am just wondering how much smithing you require to raise it as high as Legendary.

100 smithing, no enchants: flawless
enchants: epic
+ 111% smithing pots: legendary, but still only 63 dmg

Keening has a great enchantment, but the base damage isn't near the Blade of Whoa or M's Razor.

Unfortunately not. ;) Dual wielding Keening and Sunder would have been more than just epic!

blade of woe is easier to get tho

mehrunes razor is one quest
blade of woe is @ the end of a questline

the razor is easier to get.

the best dagger would be a self crafted/enchanted daedric dagger, like with all other weapons and armor

Update on my dagger situation:

2 Daedric Daggers with an Absorb 15 Health enchantment....no longer need the Blades of Woe

So yeah, definitely the best dagger to get would be a crafted Daedric Dagger with some hefty enchants
