I was hoping to find out what is the most powerful yet beautiful daggers that my fellow adventurers have come across in this unforgiving realm
And where you came across the beautiful shank .......your assistance will help me accumulate a very impressive collection hopefully

May the moon goddess guide you all

I'll take a chance and guess it's something like...
Spoiler

Mehrunes' Razor, from

Also, quest rewards depend on what level you're picking them up. If you want the most powerful reward dagger, be a powerful level.

There is a unique dagger called netterbane on orphan rock
Its used to sacrifice spriggans and resembles an orcish dagger
However it is blood red with a black handle and has a shimmer effect on it
As if it were enchanted

I dual weild daedric dagger with fire enchant 1 dmg with a bunch of charges and blade of woe, daedric dagger 61 damage blade of woe 63 the 1 dmg fire enchant on daedric dagger is helpful because when the target is on fire they take more damage and with only 1 damage you can give it an amazing amount of charges.

You won't. I do the same. Unless you find two daedric daggers, upgrade them and put your own enchantments on them you're not going to find a better combination than those two upgraded. As far as straight damage goes anyway.

You can actually get two Blade of Woes (which cost nothing to upgrade) if your pickpocket skill is high enough but I don't want to get too spoilerish.

They don't scale with you. Their stats are based on your level when you acquire them. I know this for sure with the Razor, I'm not positive about the BoW. With the BoW it doesn't matter because you can upgrade it to flawless for nothing if take the perk in Smithing that allows you to upgrade magic items.

Blade of Woe is not scaled, it's always 12 damage and the most damaging dagger in the game. And you can get two with some pickpocketing.

Speaking of BoW, does anyone know what "class" it is, upgrade-wise? Daedric, Ebony?

Iron Dagger ftw. It makes you understand how to forge Dragon Armor.

It was a Daedric Dagger in Morrowind, as well as in Oblivion I believe. Haven't seen it yet on Skyrim, but I think... Daedric, then?

My idea exactly. ;) Currently using one unenchanted Ebony Dagger and one unenchanted Elven Dagger, nevertheless when I obtain both these daggers I was planning on doing exactly this.

to get Razor you have to be lvl 20. Other than that it is easier to get.

Razor is the best dagger in the game, literally. Beyond crafting, beyond everything. It is actually the highest damage dagger.

daedric dagger + 100 enchanting(+enchanter's elixir/own alchemic result) + 100 smithing(+smithing equips made with 100 enchant and enchanter's potions) and your own enchants are the best.
the Razor isnt that great imo, havent had its effect activate yet. Nettlebane is junk and in my game resembles a worn ebony dagger, not orcish.
Blade of woe in most cases has 1 point higher physical damage than a daedric dagger but comes with its own enchantment so... imo daedric is better.

Except it isn't. It is the best because it has the chance to instant kill. But otherwise the Blade of Woe is much better damage. Both of mine are legendary upgraded and my BoW easily owns MR by 10 damage.

Yeah... but you spend umpteen perks to do this SLIGHTLY better weapon. Blade of woe doesn't demand a huge perk investment into crafting/smithing/enchanting, neither does the razor.

Townspeople say : "See that blacksmith over there? I hear he works for the dark brotherhood sometimes."

Question to people saying they upgraded Mehrunes' Razor: Friend of mine claims he cant upgrade it despite having 100 smithing. I KNOW he's wrong, I am just wondering how much smithing you require to raise it as high as Legendary.

Until you told me about this, I did not know Keening was even in the game.

Now I'm totally gonna run off and look for it lol

Currently, however, I am running around with 2 Blade's of Woe..I figure taking out a centurion in one hit is good enough ;)
