I'm really happy the dialogue will occur in real time. That freezing/zooming thing was such an immersion breaker in Oblivion. Plus, Skyrim looks like such a beautiful place. The kind of place where I would want to spend the winter of my years (excluding bandits, marauders and dragons etc.).

I can't settle on just one thing, so here goes:

- Dual wielding! Being left-handed, I'm really looking forward to this.

- The new skill system! I no longer have to pick major skills and limit myself to these throughout the game.

- The dragons! Enough said.

- The Radiant story and improved conversation system.

- New spells and rebuilt magic system. Looks great!

That's just a few things. I'll probably return and keep spamming things in a while...

Would love to be able to choose something else but.............it's leveling. A close second for me is the graphical overall of the game combined with the design work(graphical and otherwise) put into the layout of the world. Skyrim looks like a far far more compelling game world to run around than Oblivion's did.

honestly, beards, or customization in general. oblivion was CRIMINALLY pathetic in the beard department, all you could do was plaster on the worst beard texture i have ever seen... 100 times worse than morrowind's blocky beards. now that we're in nord country, bethesda seems to have realized the importance of scruffy faces, both for customizing your character and personalizing the NPC base.

i kid you not, my 1st oblivion character had the skin tone sliders turned all the way to midnight black (he WAS a dunmer...) because i could not produce a satisfactory face with that BEARDLESS character creator. all the race mods were made with women or men that look like women in mind, so there was no way for me to make a male character in oblivion that wasnt hideous and looked like an actual man, especially with no real beard options.

just from the screenshots, i can tell skyrim has VASTLY improved the character creator, and i will finally be able to make a face that i dont have to cringe at every time i open the inventory. of course the paper doll has been removed, but you get my point  .
