The best quote so far regarding Crysis 3 Multiplayer

I wouldn't worry about this - we'll be revealing more detailed information about the multiplayer soon, but for now I would simply re-state, don't worry about overpowered melee in MP :)

What I'm surprised about is how they extended the Feline's mag even further. I'm assuming they're planning on modifying the other weapons to actually stand a chance against it this time? Either that or a huge modification to the gun itself. It needs MUCH more recoil.

Whoever is responsable for balancing the weapons in Crysis 2 did a very poor job.
Feline overpowers every other gun by far.
If they put more bullets in the Feline for Crysis 3, then I guess each bullet will cause substantially less damage? Or recoil has to be really noticeable... a lot, much more so that the virtually recoil-less Feline in Crysis 2.

It is also what bothered me when they announced a 500 rpm on the Typhoon SMG, I am actually afraid that it will be a super-weak weapon because of this, for balancing reasons....

For now, some people are just sniping with ironsight, while scoping with sniper scope makes you miss almost every shot, especially since you are constantly faced with fast moving targets... Crytek has good reasons to be embarrassed about this.

Yeah, it's really hard to hit sprinting tatrgets with a sniper scope. Hey Crytek, is an OHK sniper really too much to ask?

This game was clearly designed for close combat. Stealth makes you completely invisible at long range, you can sprint for extremely long durations, and you're too fast to be hit. Even with aim assist sniping is a difficult task.

That should be a good enough reason for the only SMG in the game to be overpowered, but I think the SCARAB, as a carbine, should be able to take the Feline on since carbines are designed for close combat.

In any case, a good sniper is still effective in the game if he stays hidden, because everybody knows being seen is being killed in Crysis 2. I use the reflex sight with the GAUSS. It's effective because even though it is a 2-hit kill, the first shot drains their energy and you can finish with your secondary.

Sure, but not all of them will allow you to make a dirty dozen, Feline considerably raises your chances in doing so ;)
