The Best Stuff On TV

Post » Mon Jan 20, 2014 12:51 pm

I've had some great recommendations from people here in the past.

Having recently become fully up to date on "Castle", "Sons of Anarchy", "Walking Dead" and "Hannibal" we're now at the tail end of "Breaking Bad" and halfway through "Arrow".

I have to say "Arrow" took both my wife and I completely by surprise. We were expecting a "Smallville" Spin Off and have ended up with a surprisingly well presented and well written action show. If you haven't checked this out... really you should.

But all good things come to an end... so when we get to the end of these... we're gonna need something new to watch.

What's some of the best stuff out there now?

Cheers

Az

ps

("The Shield", "BSG", "Lost" been there and done)

("Firefly" too. It's the reason I watch Castle. I'm loving the adventures of Mal Reynolds when he was shipwrecked on Earth and had to pose as a successful crime author)

Game of Thrones, but it is an HBO show so it isn't on Netflix.

I just finished watching the french show http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Returned (The Returned)

And it was fantastic. Really glad that season 2 is in the works.

I've heard this is really good. I think they've done an English version but I'd prefer to watch the original in French since I speak it fluently.

I've heard of a series called "The Bridge" which is another international one that they've done an "English reworking" of. Apparently a body is found at a border crossing and at first no one is fussed until they realise that the body is 2 halves of 2 different people.

Thanks for the "Game Of Thrones" suggestions above. Alas we've already gobbled these up.
