Dragons CONFIRMED
http://cms.elderscrolls.com/sites/default/files/tes/screenshots/DragonRoar.jpg
The Dragons are a rare (and often believed to be extinct) Akaviri race of large reptilian beasts capable of flight and the ability to create fire[1]. Little is known about them beyond their remarkable intelligence and ability to communicate[2][3] with Nedic visitors to Akavir years ago. There are at least two subspecies, or varieties of dragon; red and black[4]. Their population in Akavir was killed by the Tsaesci, whereas the dragons in Vvardenfell were overrun by the invading cliff racers. It was rumored that they moved closer to Cyrodiil, and it may be for this reason that dragons are sacred to the Empire. The legends tell of their aid during wars in exchange for shelter. The avatar of the chief deity of the Nine Divines Akatosh, is a golden dragon. Its relation, if any, to the Tamrielic dragons is unknown - but many stories tell of Akatosh co-mingling with and organizing groups of dragons, although this representation may be metaphorical. If dragons still exist at all, they are never encountered by the mortal races. It has been suggested that they may be able to shapeshift in order to disguise themselves. It is rumored that Tosh Raka, leader of the Tiger people of Ka Po' Tun, has succeeded in transforming himself into a dragon, a rumor which is substantiated by Mysterious Akavir.
Historically, dragons lived in and around isolated villages, located high in mountain ranges. If any of these settlements still exist, they remain undiscovered. The villages were aptly situated in areas that allowed both free flying without obstructions and flats for raising cattle. Dragons were known to keep deer and other animals for food, and their meals would simply involve flying low over a ranch and swooping down upon one of them. Dragons were also known to maintain lairs - usually in derelict mining tunnels - safe from thieves and other aggressors.
Young dragons, called Dragonlings, can be found around the Iliac Bay area. These can be calmed by speakers of Dragonish.
Dragons? Oh, they're everywhere! You must fly very high to see most of them, though. The ones nearer the ground are very hard to see, being invisible - M'Aiq the Liar
Giants CONFIRMED
http://cms.elderscrolls.com/sites/default/files/tes/screenshots/Giant01_wLegal.jpg
A tremendously large creature that can deal great amounts of damage to an unwary adventurer.
Giant from Solstheim - http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:MW-Creatures-Karstaag.jpg
I have met the master (the giant) of that place, though I hope never to meet him again. — Captain Falx Carius
Mammoths CONFIRMED
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_5zYExoKVbA8/THvrrfND7PI/AAAAAAAAAk0/esumWjY4Kt0/s1600/WoolyMammoth.jpg
These behemoth creatures are said to be the pets of giants. Little is known about them...
A mammoth is any species of the Mammuthus. These proboscideans are members of Elephantidae, the family of elephants and mammoths, and close relatives of elephants. They were often equipped with long curved tusks and, in northern species, a covering of long hair. The word mammoth has the meaning of "earth horn".
Werewolves UNCONFIRMED
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:BM-creature-werewolf.jpg
The most common of lycanthropes found everywhere in Tamriel. Werewolves are humanoids that have great strength, speed and endurance. As strong as they are individually, they become lethal in packs, so some form of crowd control is recommended (Paralyze or Calm Humanoid). Silver weapons are extra effective as they do double physical damage and fire-based effects are less likely to be resisted.
Grahl UNCONFIRMED
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:BM-creature-grahl-1.jpg
Known as "ice trolls," these powerful creatures share their mainland counterparts' regeneration and vulnerability to fire, which even hinders the former ability. They are often found in ice caves.
I have heard them called that. We do not know what they really are. Perhaps an evil spirit, perhaps a great beast. Whatever they are, they are dangerous. Their claws and tusks rend armor and tear flesh. They will attack alone or in packs. Take care when they are near. — Risi Ice-Mane
Spriggans UNCONFIRMED
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:BM-creature-spriggan.jpg
These spirits of the icy forest are like the local trees. Strong and resistant. Protecting the woods against intruders they fight anyone coming near and are feared greatly because they cannot be killed easily. The Spriggan is a moderately intelligent creature which appears to be part fauna and part flora, leading to observers to confuse with trees and other plant life. It attacks with both arms as well as its teeth and has a surprisingly fast regeneration rate which results in adventurers often having to defeat them several times before they remain dead. Some have the ability to summon woodland animals to aid them, particularly black bears.
The tree spirits of this island. When the All-Maker breathed life into the creatures of the land, his Breath blew through the trees as well. Some of these trees kept a part of this life, and these are the spriggans you see today. — Risi Ice-Mane
Will-O-The-Wisps UNCONFIRMED
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:OB-Creature-Will-o-the-Wisp.jpg
Luminous, magical energy beings. Extremely dangerous, since they drain the energy, Magicka, and fatigue of their victims, often gaining more energy than the adventurer can deal damage. When not attacking, they become invisible. Can only be harmed by silver, daedric, or enchanted weapons
Rieklings UNCONFIRMED
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:BM-creature-riekling.jpg
Riekling riding a bristleback - http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:BM-creature-riekling-mounted.jpg
Rieklings are small creatures who, despite their weak appearance, offer quite a challenge, and carry their own variety of swords and shields. The native Nords believe they are descended from the Falmer.
Foul creatures. Some call them the Falmer, claim they are related to the other elves. This I do not know, but they are vile. Some are intelligent enough to speak, but they speak only nonsense. — Risi Ice-Mane
Trolls CONFIRMED
http://cms.elderscrolls.com/sites/default/files/tes/screenshots/TrollFireSword_wLegal.jpg
Trolls are shaggy, green-skinned creatures which often are set to guard areas by high level mages. They are generally stupid, but regenerate any damage done to them quickly. Killing a troll is almost impossible, for doing so would require that the damage was done in such a way as to destroy the flesh, rather than just sever it. It is for this reason that they make such formidable adversaries. If not subdued by magic, they do not long remain subdued. After subduing a troll, one should flee before it regenerates. Paralyzing a troll before killing it prevents regeneration as long as it remains paralyzed. In Oblivion, fire is very effective against trolls, but is not necessary to kill them.
Tusked Bristlebacks UNCONFIRMED
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:BM-creature-frost-boar.jpg
These boar-like creatures are found throughout Solstheim and are known for their amazing ability to reflect the magical effects used against them. They are sometimes used by Rieklings as war mounts. They are most likely to appear in the coldest regions of Solstheim, suggesting that the weather of Skyrim might suit them well enough to migrate there.
The Tusked Bristleback is a mystery to us. It is a natural being, created by the All-Maker, but it is a cruel and vicious animal. The Rieklings use them as mounts, and have bred the creatures to be even more warlike and dangerous. — Risi Ice-Mane
Giant Spiders CONFIRMED
http://cms.elderscrolls.com/sites/default/files/tes/screenshots/SpiderHero_0.jpg
The giant spider is a dangerous foe, not only for its damaging attack, but as it can also paralyze its victim so it can feed on them later.
Cliff racers UNCONFIRMED
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:MW-creature-Cliff_Racer.jpg
Large flying creatures found throughout Vvardenfell. They are very aggressive and will attack anyone in sight. Cliff Racers have good vision range, and will often detect and follow the player without being noticed. This can result in swarms of them descending upon the unwary adventurer.
In Oblivion, Jiub is said to have driven the Cliff Racers off the island and was made a saint because of it. Perhaps some of them fled to the nearby areas of Skyrim. Note that they are "enemies" of dragons.
Bears UNCONFIRMED

A piece of Horker meat among others, suggesting that they indeed are going to make it into the game - http://i.imgur.com/R8xBP.jpg
A creature reminiscent of a seal. It is amphibious, however it can live on land for short times. They are native to Solstheim (native, but perhaps they migrated to Skyrim), and are actively hunted by the rieklings and werewolves.
Another of the All-Maker's wondrous creations. These creatures provide a great deal for our people. They are strong swimmers and fierce fighters, on land and in the sea. — Risi Ice-Mane

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:OBCreature-rat.jpg
Rats are unclean animals and it is possible to catch a variety of diseases from their bite. There are many varying species of rats in Tamriel. Of particular note, some bandits of Hammerfell have been known to train rats to carry small items for them, and even to drag away chests.

Dogs CONFIRMED
http://i55.tinypic.com/xn5f9i.jpg

UNDEAD
Liches UNCONFIRMED
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:OBCreature-Lich.jpg
These creatures are wizards who have attempted to cheat death by prolonging their life through the use of spells and such, eventually turning themselves into a form of the undead. Few have ever faced such a creature and lived to tell the tale. It is known that they are very powerful, able to defeat high level characters easily, and able to see the invisible. They are known to have immunity to weapons below mithril, regeneration capabilities, and any other powers that would be associated with a 20th+ level mage. You are cautioned, these creatures are beings of such power that it would be foolhardy to face one without properly preparing yourself with powerful equipment or artifacts.
Draugrs CONFIRMED
http://cms.elderscrolls.com/sites/default/files/tes/screenshots/DraugrGroup_wLegal.jpg
Draugr from Solstheim - http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:BM-creature-draugr-2.jpg
Once, they were warriors much like the Skaal. Trapped and hungry on this island, they feasted on the flesh of their fallen comrades, which is a crime against nature. The All-Maker cursed them with undeath, forever doomed to walk the land in search of more of the flesh of man to consume. — Korst Wind-Eye
In Norse mythology, a draugr was an undead creature believed to inhabit the tombs of dead viking warriors.
Ice Wraiths CONFIRMED
http://cms.elderscrolls.com/sites/default/files/tes/screenshots/IceWraiths_wLegal.jpg
Wraiths are the spirits of long dead mages, trapped into this state either by the circumstances surrounding their death, or by being called up from the dead by a more powerful Wizard. They often are set to guard things, or to patrol different areas. It is known that Wraiths can cast spells, and will do so in order to destroy any who trespass into their domain. Wraiths also have the ability to see invisible creatures. The spectres of spellcasters, they are much more dangerous than ghosts. They cast fireballs.
Bone wolves UNCONFIRMED
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:BM-creature-wolf-skeleton-1.jpg
These are the undead versions of the wolves.
Foul beasts, not of this earth. These are creatures brought into existence by black magic. They are a mockery of the true and good wolves that roam this land.— Risi Ice-Mane
Bonewalkers UNCONFIRMED
http://images.uesp.net/thumb/e/ef/MWCreature-Bonewalker.jpg/180px-MWCreature-Bonewalker.jpg
Though not as powerful as other undead, the Bonewalker is feared for its terrible curses it can bestow upon its foes. Bonewalkers typically curse their foes and are resistant to frost, poison, and shock attacks. Note that these are basically the equivalents of flesh atronachs seen in the Shivering Isles.
Zombies UNCONFIRMED (but highly probably that they will be in the game)
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:OBCreature-Zombie.jpg
These undead are dangerous indeed, for they carry with them the curse of their deaths. Those who are struck by a zombie have a chance of getting a rotting disease which will slowly but surely eat away their health, eventually turning the hapless victim into a zombie also.
Slow and not too dangerous. Their diseases are nasty, though.
Skeletons UNCONFIRMED (but highly probable that they will be in the game)
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:OBCreature-Skeleton.jpg
A common undead creature often found protecting the dungeons, forts and ruins of Tamriel. Many varieties of animated skeleton exist, some stronger than others.
Although they can be damaged by unenchanted arms, any edged weapons (swords, axes, etc.) do only about half their normal damage. Adventurers are advised to used blunt weapons (maces, hammers, flails, etc.) when fighting these creatures. Immune to disease, frost and poison and resistant to shock.
DAEDRA
Dremora UNCONFIRMED (but highly probable that they will be in the game)
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:Tes4e3dremora.jpg
Dremora are an aggressive humanoid species of Daedra who serve the Daedric Prince Mehrunes Dagon. They are commonly encountered throughout the planes of Oblivion. Physically, Dremora resemble large, dark reddish skinned humanoids, and they boast a natural Resistance to Magic. The Dremora that appear in the game are almost invariably male. They are intelligent, sentient beings and make capable warriors and mages.
Golden saints UNCONFIRMED (but highly probable that they will be in the game)
http://images.uesp.net/thumb/0/03/MW-creature-Golden_Saint.jpg/180px-MW-creature-Golden_Saint.jpg
These Daedra appear as half-clad women with golden-hued skin wearing golden armor and a winged helmet. Also known as "Aureals," they are the spawn of Sheogorath and are feared for their combat abilities. They often look down on mortals, and tend to be quick tempered, short of patience, and are quick to deal cruel and harsh punishments.
Xivilai UNCONFIRMED
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:OBCreature-Xivilai.jpg
Daedra that look like tall, gray-skinned knights. They are similar in many points to the Dremora, but do not have a caste system. Their lack of a caste system fits perfectly with their hatred of subordination and tendency for betrayal. They are also often in the service of Mehrunes Dagon. They can wield two-handed weapons single-handedly and summon Clannfears.
Daedroth UNCONFIRMED (but highly probable that they will be in the game)
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:OB-Creature-Daedroth.jpg
These crocodile-headed bipedal Daedra are associated with Molag Bal and Mehrunes Dagon. They are one of the weaker, more animalistic types of Daedra, but still a dangerous foe with powerful clawed arms and moderate magical ability. Though some have been known to use weapons and wear simple armor, most attack with bare claws. Those found in Morrowind are man-sized and spit poison or shock magic, while those found in Cyrodil tend to be larger and belch firebolts instead. These larger Daedroths initiate battle by shaking themselves, invoking a protective shield. They are similar in appearance to the Lesser Daedra.
[size="5"]Atronachs CONFIRMED (but highly probable that they will be in the game)
The ice atronachs are especially bound to be found in Skyrim.
Storm - http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:OB-Creature-Storm_Atronach.jpg
Fire - http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:OB-Creature-Flame_Atronach.jpg
Ice - http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/1/17166/965614-frostatronach_super.jpg
Unfortunately, the Dragon Priest who bursts out of the stone casket in the room’s center doesn’t use his feet – he levitates. More importantly, he summons a fairly large and very aggressive Frost Atronach (read: elemental), who hits really hard right up until the point that a fire spell melts him into a puddle. - Some Noob
Clannfear UNCONFIRMED (but highly probable that they will be in the game)
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:OBCreature-clannfear.jpg
This is a reptilian Daedra with a large crested head somewhat similar to that of the triceratops dinosaur, though instead of two forward-pointing horns the Clannfear has several smaller spikes across its face. They walk on two legs and use their clawed arms much like a predatory dinosaur would. They are generally thought to be of animal intelligence, though it is possible that they are slightly intelligent and can be communicated with at times. Clannfear are not known to actively use magic though some do have a damage shield of some sort. They are often associated with the Daedric Prince Mehrunes Dagon, though they are likely to be common creatures throughout the various planes of Oblivion.
Scamps UNCONFIRMED (but highly probable that they will be in the game)
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:OBCreature-scamp.jpg
One of the lesser sentient Daedra in Oblivion, Scamps often enter into the mortal world to cause mischief and carry out errands for their Princes. It is not known whether these beings were ever mortal creatures, or if they are simply created as-is by the Princes for purposes of servitude. They are weak, rather unintelligent, and cowardly, and are easily defeated except in large numbers. They are most commonly associated with Mehrunes Dagon.
