So, I was just wandering around Hoover dam (buying lots of ammo because I was bored) and I noticed something interesting..

I still stand by my idea that the 'big empty' isn't a play on words for big Mt. BUT, you can't entirely dismiss the possibility. So if it is infact big MT perhaps it could have already been alluded to. Much like the Sierra Madre was in posters...

The Musuem of Technology is on many posters. Inviting you to come and experience 'life in a vault tech vault' 'See the lunar lander etc'

I really hope that Big Mountain turns out to be Iron Mountain, the only other station listed as operational on the PoseidoNet communications system.

Yes, the Museum of Technology is in Washington DC, you can visit it in FO3 and take the Vault-Tec tour.

There goes that idea then... Still think it'll be the large empty looking area on the western side of the map anyways...

I know where the Big Empty is. It's right here on my PC. I've got all this space reserved for new DLCs and it remains empty...

So acording to Elija (I don't think I spelled that right) The Big Empty is full of old world goodies. And I think the passage north goes to the Big Empty, and it's called: the Big Empty, leading us to beleive it's large and mostly deviod of... well anything.

So all in all I think it's the Bonneville Saltflats in Nevada. That's where they test rocket cars and set land speed records, etc. That might be the source of the old world tech, it's big and largely empty, and I believe it's north of Vegas.

What do you think?

The Bonneville Salt Flats are in utah. Just east of Wendover Nevada.
