Honour of the ancestors upon your path. May your way be well lit.
As a fellow Altmer I could not help note the ruthlessness in your personality and the singualirity of your path.
While keeping in respect the full lineage of your ancestry and the purity of your blood I do feel it is my obligation to gently chide you and remind you of the other roads.
The lessons of your house have taught you the proper veneration and rituals, and you are strenghtened in the ways of the world. I feel, however, that your experience is a singular one and that you judge on experience instead of potential.
Mind your Father and his house, mind the corners.
You have met many adversaries obviously out for your blood, so the words you do not write tell me. And the words you do not write explain the most.
But these same hidden words to me speak of a one sided experience.
When you visited the walking tree of the Bosmeri, did you try to accustom or did you lock yourself from the strange qualia, not least the smell, that came upon you?
Oh, the ways of wisdom are such: Wisdom is a pearl, a cube, a bag of salt. It is all these things and one. When one approaches from the way chosen, one does not see the other facets. When the centre is reached, only then will all paths have lead to the same, and all the truths revealed as facets of the same immutable.
Head the words of the old.
Take from the other races what they deem wise. Do not seek strife or dominion.
As you were taught when you were young, wisdom comes in many guises. Take this wisdom from he who came before.
That wich is given freely comes at less cost than that wich is taken.
There are many ways to glory.
But they are all empty unless recognised.
May those that walked the path before you leave you a guiding star,
Merari.
I'm humbled by your wisdom, and I shall try to keep a more open mind as I go, I fear that all the battles I fought on my long journey have hardened my heart, but I shall try to be wiser in my future endeavors.
