High Elves are the weakest to magic which is an ironic trade off

I chose "I wholly refute the claim that High Elves are superior to the other races and I will attempt to slaughter them on sight." as it seemed the most obvious answer and now i am actually going to dedicate a skyrim playthrough to slaughtering any and every Altmer I see.

My Altmer in Oblivion with apprentice birthsign was über (Yes, a relative of Rolf).

I like them a little bit more than bretons, they were so much generic in the previous games.

8 pages in...I don't suppose i'm bringing anything new to the table, but anyways:

To me, the way I perceived altmers in Oblivion drastically changed in comparison to how I viewed them in Morrowind. They stood tall, they had a very condescending tone and they usually held a prestigious vocation.

In Oblivion they sounded and looked like every other elf in the game aside from their height.

Despite them being so grand in Morrowind, I never used them. I didn't like how tall they were and I also didn't like how the race was considered to be one of the grandest. Perhaps I, mentally did not think I was good enough to play as an Altmer...who knows.

Back to Oblivion though, most of the elves felt the same. I hope Bethesda is taking some measures such as skin complexion, voice acting, hair styles, tattoos and facial structuring to really make each elven race look and feel different.

Superior spellcasting with accompanying weaknesses suits me perfectly. I tried to play a Breton once, and I was OK with a smaller mana pool, but the resistance to magicka together with the daily shield, made the character boringly low risk.

Breton Master Race.

The boost in Magicka from altmer makes them better against warrior types but Bretons are built to be Battle Mages and to battle mages. So naturally Bretons dominate Altmer

Whilst I of course respect and honour your views on the world of Tamriel, with your being a fellow son of Summerset, I must protest most vociferously at the notion of the beast races being anything other than mere savages. Granted, I have not myself ever left the confines of the glorious Summerset Isles (the very thought repulses me), although I simply refuse to believe that the beast races are anything other than mindless savages. Indeed, I find it a rather offensive, and indeed repulsive idea that the beast races are capable of anything other than the most base emotions and instincts. Why, what you suggest is tantamount to heresy!

I trust that upon your return to Summerset you either publish your peer-assessed research for the rest of us to pour over, or else seek instant medical attention, as you are almost certainly suffering from some sort of mental confusion, as a result of having been around so many lesser mortals for a prolonged period of time. You poor, poor soul. Hurry back to Summerset, before you lose what is left of your already shattered mind.

I don't like High Elf's at all. Not their attitude. They are very condescending and don't realize how intelligent argonians are. I made a high elf once. he could do the most damage in one attack to anyone. He could do a spell with 600 damage total...thats nice and all but afterwards he was completely drained of magika and had to drink alot of mana potions. Now i don't feel like drinking a ton of mana potions every time I'm in a fight i will eventually run out. They are capable of beating one opponent at a time. But they cant handle taking on multiple opponents because they eventually run low on magic. And they take too much maintenance making sure you have potions with you. i had an argonian once. I could fight multiple opponents no problem. And even use a little magic here and there. Even my wood elf at least carried 200 arrows at a time it would take me forever to get rid of those. High elfs are the worst fighting class they are only good for...nothing really. High power even higher risk. They kinda svck.

Yes, Altmers are big and fat. This poll is named correctly, yet I don't see this variant, so I didn't voted.

Bretons are superior race. They don't have that much magicka as big fat Altmers, but their lack of extra flammability makes up for it.

I once tried playing an Altmer in Morrowind, Atronach Birthsign, Mage. I stopped playing after a few hours because it was too overpowered. (Cast at enemies, Mark, _______ Intervention, use shrine, Recall back)

Also, can someone translate this for me?

Well . . . I can't argue against you there. I mainly play as Altmer. Their height makes me prefer them over Dunmer. . . a tall and deadly, mysterious mage. My Altmers all have Daedric blood in them though, even if the game doesn't officially say so. While friendly to all races that are friendly to them, even the hard to look at Argonians, they have also destroyed hordes of mighty Nords, Orcs, Imperials, Redguard and every other racial type known to Tamriel.

All that said. . . sure I would rather play a society defying male of The Aureal or The Mazkan. . . but so far ES won't let me. :brokencomputer:

My Altmer tought this poll was stupid, he is a kind good person and doesn't like that most of his kinsmen give HIM bad reputation for being snobby and such.
