On a serious note, I have to admit I have never played as an Altmer yet, really should give them a try.

i prefer the dunmer, and nords are tall AND strong, while the altmer might break their overly-spoiled limbs if they even tried wielding a weapon fit for an actual man.

also, the altmer race is tainted by having one of their strongest members being the king of worms... a soulless necromancer... and my dunmer killed him in 2-3 hits.

I hardly notice the Altmer at all. They can keep their head as high as they like - which saves me from having to look at it and just move on by

Good thing the game isn't out yet.
If I would have seen this poll while playing I would have slaughtered every High Elf I saw in game for at least half an hour.
Besides they have their specialization just like other races have theirs, I don't feel that they're better in anyway really.

The altmer just follow whatever the dunmer do. Dunmer worship Daedra -> Centuries later Altmer start worshippin Daedra. Dunmer make peace with Dwemer, then wage war against them -> Altmer make peace with Empire, then secede and mostly likely wage war on it. Dunmer get cursed and turned ashen. Altmer will be cursed and it wont change a thing because really they can't get uglier... Dunmer Island homeland gets blown to pieces. Can't wait to see what'll happen to Summerset.... I hope it takes out Valenwood too, and then the Khajits can invade them !!!

Nah its all good. I just dont like the Altmer, I dont like the elongated faces. The bland skin coloring in Oblivion didnt help.... but then none of the elven races were much to look at in Oblivion....
