done. I have yet to try this mod. I do love sinister storylines and these and that. Please tell me you added Amaund Montierre inside so that i can break his bones for tricking me in the DB questline.

Just as a notice, because people have asked us this lately(and it still seems like it's in question on the list), Ethas is not a total conversion. It's designed to play right along side Skyrim, yet as it's own separate world. So essentially, 2 games in 1.

Andoran is most definitely not on hiatus nor is it dead . Andoran should definitely be colored for "Hot in Progress"

Eh, similar, I guess. I believe Wyrmstooth is meant to be lore friendly though, where Ethas is not, as Ethas is its own separate world/entity not within the Elder Scrolls universe. I'm not unsure how big Wyrmstooth's landmass is, but we're working with a land mass roughly about the size of Skyrim and a half, complete with guilds, main quests, side quest, etc. In all technicality, Ethas could serve as a total conversion, however, we decided against that early in development as we didn't want to take away one game (Skyrim), just to be able to play in ours. Provides some unique challenges in our design as well, since you can pretty much load up a lvl. 80 character and begin Ethas that way if you want to.

Just wanted to quickly jump in and say that I wouldn't really consider that an obstacle to be overcome. If player's are decided on doing such things there's nothing that can really be done to prevent it.
I would think it would be common sense that to have the best experience with such content, a new game/fresh character would be required. Although if Ethas is "levelled" to 80 (rather than Skyrim's default 50) that would be pretty good

A landmass of the size of skyrim and a half should be like 6000x4500 roughly wich is quite big ... perhaps we could make the developers post the sizes of their heightmaps for their games to understand the size of the mod ... mine is 2048x2048 with a playable area of 1024 ^ 2

Yes, but that's pretty much assuming everyone will start a new character, which everyone won't. So you kind of have to keep in mind there are some who will decide to start fresh, but then there are some who do want to go through with their lvl. 50+ characters just so they won't have to start over. The challenge in that is having it so that both sides of the spectrum can have fun, and at the same time find a challenge. Skyrim gets kind of boring when you can just slaughter through all the enemies non-stop with no second thought of being able die. Unless, of course, that's your purpose, and you just like to kill everyone in towns and villages.

i just hope that these mods have what skyrim lacks, such as meaningful quests that impact the world as well as memorable characters. I dont mean by dragon age origins standard, but i do want a good journal and questline(e.g. oblivion's db quest)

can you list the beyond Skyrim projects as separate mods rather than one big project? They will all be released as individual mods you see
they all have a forum here http://www.darkcreations.org/forums/forum/119-beyond-skyrim/

Also changed beyong skyrim as separate mods, and also more goodies for me. I can really play skyrim up to the 10th era. Well after i spend the rest of the 4th era in riften jail.

Just thought I'd post here

I'm part of a team of forum regulars, we are currently working on a large-ish quest mod. We're bringing a brand new joinable Guild to the land of Skyrim, known as The Keepers

Because it is set in skyrim, there is no "new land", but instead there are a few unique new locations that you will explore. Add to that some interesting scripted-bosses and puzzles, plus a brand new armor set and weapon, we hope you guys will enjoy the mod once it's released!

It is very much a WIP at the moment (I would say we are roughly 60% through development).

There is not a WIP thread in these forums yet, but I've just set up a website for it. This site will serve as a small wiki for the mod eventually, there's loads of info, pics and videos that still need adding

This mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32120 may be worthwhile adding to the list. I haven't played it, as I'd like to wait until it is out of BETA, but I've had peek at it and it introduces quite a bit of content.
