All but the provinces of Skyrim and small territories spread out in the world claimed independence from the empire, though not in a warlike way... for most races anyways.
The Argonians of Black Marsh returned to there land in order to aid there families as band of Orvas Dren's supporters sailed south to round up slaves. Assisted however, the Argonians were, by the Khajiit who shared no love for the ash-skinned race that encroached upon there land.
Meanwhile, the elves of the south west, wood elves and high elves, took to remaining hidden inside there forest and islands. The High Elves are said to have prospered in there lands, great houses and towers being built. The wood elves are known to have dwelled in the tree's for many a time, defending there lands and throwing the greatest of celebrations each year.
The orcs and goblins of the world however... they were not among the prosperous. It is said that the orcs were split into three factions, one of which took up home back in the halls of Orsinium. This was the greatest of the three factions, known as the Tarra'Kur. It is rumored that they were lead by a great and powerful necromancer. Of this, little do we know until the mid years of the fourth era.
Another of the two factions are believed to have taken up home in a massive Aylied city, known as Nirrinvar, where they had golblin slaves carve them finer halls. The Morgroth'vane is what this hardy band of orcs were called. They would roam the western reaches of Cyrodil, raiding small settlements and occasionally launching large attacks on the city of Anvil. Only once it is recorded they have gotten in, for now.
As for the third faction, this faction of orcs stayed with the nords and imperials of the empire, forging some of the finest weapons one could find. Though not everyonce cares for there presence, these orcs are a lot more civil then there warlike brethren.
The Kingdom's of High Rock and Hammerfell, little is known. It is said that the Tarra'kur raid the lands, and that many goblins have taken up places in the caves and mountains. The Wrothgariran mountains... they are loss. It's people have fled to other districts, to escape the hordes of orcs and goblins that have taken up hold.

The Most Recent of Events, in 4E 39, on the fourth of Morning Star... war. War has now been declared, the Dark Elves of the east out of control after the death of Vedan Dren, and the complete destruction of both House Redoran, and House Hllalu. Vivec city has been destroyed, and Mourneholde has been conquered by many agents of a new enemy.
These agents consist of barbaric elves, wild men, and what appears to be many summoned daedra. The source of these attack's none have yet to know, but they seem to be spawning from Red Mountain itself. Indeed, blight and ash spew forth once more, and in great and massive amounts. However, many believe this is not the work of Dagoth Ur, but someone else.
The Orcs of Orsinium and Nirrinvar have gone on a rampage, the ones of Orsinium seeming to have found new passion in conquering the lands of the west. Nirrinvar, it strikes out to the north and south reaches of Cyrodil at the moment, creating many war camps.
The sudden attack's source, once more none know much of, though many believe that the rumored necromancer who supposedly is in allignment with the Tarra'kur is responsible for this. Either way, it spells trouble for Cyrodil and Skyrim, and indeed all the races of the world.
A council has been called. Not for heroes, but for anyone willing to fight these forces. Ocato awaits all able-bodied soldiers on the fifth of Morning Star, at four in the morning.
So there is my idea... yeh.... what do you all think?
