The Blades - The Rescue

The captain looked up to the new Khajiit, "If you would." he accepted with a small nod. He couldn't remember seeing the Khajiit in the encounter but he wasn't really concentrating much back then. He stood up and looked to the others, "Alright, let's get going, we can't stay here now - Break camp!" He ordered, "prisoners, follow me to your caravan."

The guards that had stayed by their captain nodded and ran in their own directions. Gravious winced slightly as he watched the disapointment in many of their faces. "Skyriim.. Why does it have to be such a nasty place? Full of dangers, it's far too scenic for this sort of violance." He mused and looked to the bear that lay on the floor. He looked to Gorun, "Cut off it's arm or something and bring it with us, see if our mages can find anything out about it."

The great orc sighed and nodded, Gravious didn't blame him - He would've hated to have done it. He went to touch his sword hilt but suddenly remembered it had been swiped away from him. He swore and looked around to find it, eventually he saw it glinting not far from him. And, with a several inspections of the weapon - He sheathed it and began to escort the prisoners back to their caravan.

"Suit yourself" Nina shrugged not phased by the man's words, as they were honest. However it seemed that she would not be able to escape just yet.. as the blades that left were now all scurrying about packing up everything they had just put down minutes ago. It seems there was more trouble than they first thought.. well at least it will detract their eyes from me for now.. she thought as Nina reached the camp, and glanced around trying to figure out what got them all so eager to leave in a hurry.

Reaching the caravan that she had arrvied in, the asassin lent on the side and yawned. "Well if we are all leaving, you can stop keeping tabs on me Elf" Nina said, obviously bored with the situation at hand, even if there was something that was making everyone want to leave. "But next time leave your weapon sheathed, im not going to attack anyone here" With that said she yawned again and decided to go to the entrance of the caravan, the warmth of the blankets enticing her to cover herself in them and sleep.

"I'm going to get some sleep in, it has been interesting at least" the Imperial woman concluded and went to the back of the caravan to get some rest.

DoNashi

With a sudden movement the bear attacked. With its massive paw it slashed the torch out of gravious’ hand and cut through the flesh of his arm. It then prepared to jump for the kill. Before anyone of the group could react gorun jumped out of the woods with his warhammer in his hands. With a loud bash he cracked open the skull of the beast, Killing it. Gorun himself flew helped by his momentum into the bushes.

"Search the forest. Be wary, we have people who can turn into creatures. Expect wolves." He ordered to a few of them. Gravious turned to the prisoners, "Give them your torches, our patrol is over for now." He added, shaking his head.

Reluctantly DoNashi dropped the branch he was going to use as a weapon and passed his torch to one of the guards. When he looked back at the captain he could see that other khajiit was already helping him. "Let me take care of the wound, I know healing magics and can even give you a once over with a cure disease spell. In case the bear gave you anything nasty." The khajiit spoke, holding up his hand, that was encircled with blue magic.

With disappointment and anger he looked at the others that had stood eye to eye with the bear with him and the captain. He remembered most of them just looking at the bear not reacting. Out of fear? I hope not, otherwise I won’t be able to thrust on them. But if it wasn’t fear, then it had to be something else and then I couldn’t thrust on them either. “I hope next time you’ll do something when we’re threatened instead of just standing there. DoNashi said, his voice was a growl of anger.

Giving the captain another look to make sure he was in capable hands, which seemed to be. He turned around to head back to the wagon.

“I’ll be helping breaking up the camp,” he said to the others, “maybe you should make yourself a bit more useful by doing the same!”

As the group continued walking through the forest Gravious and a few of the others thought they heard a noise, they quickly rushed to the noise and found a man there, with strange glowing blue marks on his body. The man said something that Arwayn did not hear, then turned into a large brown bear. The bear lunged at the front soldiers and Arwayns eyes almost bulged out of her head at the sight of the fearsome beast. Damnit! This creature would tear me apart if I tried to kill it in the current state I am in. Arwayn argnily thought as she watched the soldiers aswell as a few of the male prisoners fight the bear. Arwayn slowly moved into the darkness in hopes that the creature would not spot her. Thankfully after only a few minutes the group managed to take the bear down.

Gravious ordered his men to search the forrest, telling them to expect wolves as during the battle many wolf howls could be heard. Terrific! Arwayn thought sarcastically, I hope that the blades decide to arm us properly if they expect us to keep dealing with these dangers. Her thoughts were broken when Gravious turned to the group and spoke to them.

"Give them your torches, our patrol is over for now." He added, shaking his head.

Arwayn handed her torch to the nearest guard and stuck by him for safety, looking around in the darkness she tried to spot any of the wolves that might be nearby but her night time eyesight was nowhere near that of a khajiit's.

“I hope next time you’ll do something when we’re threatened instead of just standing there." DoNashi suddenlu said to the group, his voice was a growl of anger.

Arwayn looked over at the khajiit male and retorted back, loud enough for the soldiers to hear too. "Had I been properly armed I would have. I hope you dont expect that I try to take on a foe such as that with merely my fists? I do not possess the same amount of physical strength you do." She knew that he was't talking only to her, but felt like she should make the point anyways.

When DoNashi turned to the group saying that he was gonna help out back at camp and that the others should actually make themselves useful she rolled her eyes at his words, flashed him a mean look and waited for the order to head back to the camp.

Jareth looked at the other male as he seemed to be in charge of the others, or at least acted like it. As soon as he was allowed to, the Khajiit began his healing on the captains hand, the flesh knitting back together quickly and the bleeding abating. Finishing off with the healing spell as minor as it was, Jareth muttered a slightly more complex spell as he cast a cure disease spell on the captain. A soft blue aura enveloping the male and purging whatever ill diseases that may have infected him. Jareth let the male go to do his thing and then looked at Do'Nashi once more as the khajiit headed off back to the camp. His ears pinning back as the male seemed aggravated for them not doing anything. He decided to approach the male on the way back to the camp "Hey.." he spoke up as he caught up beside Do'nashi "What real right do you have to tell them off? What could they have done against that beast? No weapons or anything. Just been meat shields."

DoNashi

While walking back to the camp a fellow khajiit caught up beside him. His fur was light tanned with some lighter stripes going through it. his manes where short and rough cut and he had dark orange eyes. DoNashi remembered the khajiit as the one healing Gravious.

"Hey.." he spoke up as he caught up beside Do'nashi "What real right do you have to tell them off? What could they have done against that beast? No weapons or anything. Just been meat shields."

“What they could have done? He asked in a loud and angry voice. “Sorry, didn’t mean to sound angry at you. I know you were at least ready to act with magic. Although I don’t know why you didn’t.” he apologized for his tone.

DoNashi started breaking down a tent. “ they could have fought for their lives. If that orc warrior hadn’t been there, the captain would have been dead. And then the beast would have turned towards us.” DoNashi tried to explain.

“Alone against such beast with no proper weapons I would have been killed easily too. and then what good would it have been for them to not fight because they had no weapons. The bear wouldn’t have just turned around saying: hey, you don’t have weapons or anything so I’ma leave you alone.” He jokingly said. He looked at the other khajiit.

“what are you standing there for? Help me breaking down some tents while we’re talking”
