The Bloodred Moon

Adire stood bewildered, a shadow of her former self, she looked five years older. She got up and brushed the dirt off her coat as a guard approached her.
"Greetings... err.... Breton, to the safe city of Anvil. May I ask where you came from? You're in safe hands, any pursuers of you are dead if they get close to the walls." He said, more a formality than a greeting.
"Hello, sir. I fled my home in Chorrol after the beasts attacked, it was not a pretty site." She said through staggered breaths.

"I rode for two straight days and finally reached here. Word had spread that this was the only safe city left. I think I killed one of the monsters out there as-well, if it wasn't for your men then I'd be trapped out in the open and most likely to become wolf chow." She bowed before the guard, who seemed taken aback at how fast she talked, and offered her hand to shake.
"My sweet girl Danika is exhausted as you can see." She said, gesturing to her steed as the gathered her breath. "Is there anywhere she can stay for food and a drink? I'm not fussy, I'll stay with her if necessary. Oh, by the way, my name's Adire, but you can call me Adz." She smiled, winking at the guard.
That was more like the Adz that everyone knew and loved.

Sweet. I just had the idea it would be cool if Isaac became a vampire lord of sorts and took over the city. Then from there... well, no spoilers yet. I planned out the entire battle today, which is the reason why I dont really want anyone teleporting in magically.))

John thought about it for a moment.
''Well. I can't force you,'' John sighed, ''Yes I shall bring your men and the survivors to the summer set isles. If you ever reconsider just ask me.''

"Why yes, there is a makeshift stable down the road on your right, go all the way to the end. I'm afraid we are out of grain, but there's plenty of water there. If you want to, feel free to sleep with your horse, but one in survived the temporary werewolf occupation: The Fo'c's'le. You can sleep there if you want, if you don't mind the smell of wolf blood. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a nap to take. I haven't gotten a decent night's sleep in a week," said Barius, after finishing shaking her hand. He then walked back to his home, happy to be back asleep.

OOC: He has I'd say around 250 altogether. And I'm gonna spare 30. Leaving me with 220 ready and able-bodied men.

IC:

"Then its settled, in one week's time, I'll give you my men and you and my refugees can be on your way to Anvil. But until then, you stay here, its still too dangerous to go out." Endreg got up from his work and strolled over to John, "I leave these people's lives in your hands, friend." Endreg put his hand on John's shoulder, "Tell me, and be truthful, can you fulfill this deed, kinsman?"

But suddenly, a loud bell and drum began sounding off, and a guard shouted, "Werewolves, a Blood Pack!" A Blood Pack meant over 60 werewolves. "Everyone to the walls! Bar the gates! Light the arrows!" Endreg began shouting orders. He unsheathed his sword and brought about his mighty oak shield. He also brought the Werewolf head helm over his head, truly the Skaal leader was a sight to behold in his battle prowess.

"Prepare for battle! May Hircine himself bleed!"

Ocrandas woke up the next morning feeling great. He hadn't been able to sleep ever since he became a werewolf. Ocrandas walked out to see a fresh coat of snow had fallen overnight. He walked outside of the fort in search of the witches.

Eventually he came to a cave. He could just feal the presence of something very powerful inside. He took out his dai-katana and walked in.

Inside it was very dark. The only light was a flickering candle. Ocrandas knew this was where the withes were.

Ocrandas walked deeper into the cave seeing cracked skulls with spears stuck through them. While distracted by the skulls a bonewolf leaped at him claws drawn. Ocrandas then realized he was being attacked. With the upward slice of the sword he made quick work of the bonewolf. Ocrandas continued down the cave. Suddenly he heard cackling in the distance. Sword in hand he approached where he thought the laughter had come from. He walked into a large cavern. standing in the middle were three witches that seemed to be chanting some sort of spell or ritual. Ocrandas decided to wait until it was over,

OOC: Ok people. I was told to pass this on. Jonasvault got suspended until the 28th. I Am going to stay in the cave for a week or so.

I apologise for the length of this post, but I will not be on at all tommorow and need to get this done. ))

The vampires had gathered outside the fort, the Bloodmoon shining brightly. No starts covered the night, only clouds. Isaac stood ontop a hill, gazing toward the Imperial City. Soon, it would be the new home of his kind.

"Sir?" a voice said, Isaac turning to see two black haired nords walking to him, "My name is Thurdos, and this is my brother, Farus. We were once commanders in the legion army, and would gladly help you control the forces."

Isaac nodded, "Gather a thousand troops, five hundred for both of you. Attack from the sewers, clear it, and then aid us above. We will be taking all the districts surrounding the White gold tower, and then I will personally wipe out anyone inside. Capture any stragglers for cattle, same for cultist. Eradicate ALL of the infected."

The two nords bowed before going to carry out there orders. Isaac looked at his army, who he assumed beleived him as some sort of prophet. There were crossbow wielders, and then there were the silver blade and axe wielders. Sadly, Isaac did not see anyone left in his clan. He let out a sigh, knowing he may of been the last one of Tamriels strongest vampire race.

The Nighthallow were always well trained in weapons, and creating civilisation of there own. They knew how to lead, and how to do so properly. They were ones that could stir up the hearts of anyon, whether it was for the better or for the worst. If the hounds that destroyed Nighthallow Keep could do so in less then two days, Isaac knew that he was going against a rare breed.

Come to think of it, there was a strange colored werewolf, armored as well it seemed. Something he would investigate later.

"Attention!" he shouted, the vampire's silencing themselves to turn and listen to there leader, "We attack now, by the bridge! We shall finish this battle before the night is over. Prepare to charge!"
he said, the vampires beggining to move toward the city's bridge.

Isaac dashed to the front, drawing his silver Dai-Katana as he began to cross the bridge. Howls could be heard coming from the forest on the island, Isaac's eyes catching black furred hounds leaping from the trees and onto the bridge, running at the army.

"Archers!" he shouted, the crossbow wielders leaping onto the arches and sides of the bridge, firing silver arrows into the werewolves as the swordsmen of the vampires continued to move forward. The gates to the Imperial City creeked open, more hounds pouring out. The swordsmen stopped, readying there blades and swinging them in a upward arc as the beast came into range of attack.

Isaac leaped to the front of the gate, decapitating a hounds head from its body as he landed. Many of the beast charged at the vampire, only to have arrows pelt them as they were distracted. Very few of the beast remained to stop the vampires from entering the city.

"Charge! Slaughter all the beast, and gather the cultist for food!" Isaac shouted, "May Lucien guide our blades tonight!"

The vampiric army entered the city, splitting up and attacking the districts. Isaac moved through the city, aiding his forces in the best way he could. He eventaully found himself in the Arcane University, six other vampires with him. The werewolves guarding the entrances to the tower and actual university had yet to notice them.

"We have found the cultist." Isaac said, looking to two of his troops, "You two. Make sure none escape. The rest of you, with me!"

Isaac gestured for the crossbow wielders to shoot the two wolves at the door, while he and the other vampire attacked the two gateways. The werewolves were dispatched easily, not having fed in a long time. The three soldiers gathered near Isaac.

"Sir, it is locked! There is no way in." one said, Isaac scowling.

"We are not mortals. We have abilities far beyond theres! With me!" he turned, running toward one of the gates and then leaping, landing on the other side. He glared at this three troops, them following shortly.

He turned, walking down the steps, into the gardens that the mages used to study in. He knew the place well, for he often came out here during Frostfall and relaxed on the city walls. Now however was not a month of relaxation, but a time of retribution.

He kicked the door to the dorm rooms open, stomping up the stairs to see many awakened cultist looking about wildly.

"All of you are now the property of the Covenant! Get up, and get moving." he barked, one of the cultist standing slowly.

"And who are you to order me? I obey only the god, the rightful ruler of this world, my Lord, Hirc-" in less then two seconds, Isaac leaped across the room and plunged his blade into the cultist body, his hand ripping through the other side.

"I," he whispered darkly, "am your lord now." He pulled his arm out of the body, letting it fall to the ground. Something to feed on later. He slowly turned to look at the other cultist, raising his scarlet blade toward them.

"Does anyone else have anything to say?" he said darkly, "No? Get out of here, NOW."

Isaac had the cultist locked up in the tower for the time, making sure nothing could help them escape.

It was still night when Barius's doors were opened once again. Awoken easily, Barius sleepily said, "You've got to be kidding me. Give me some sle...!" Two shadowy figures walked into the room grabbed his arms and legs, and muffled him. Screaming in an effort to overcome the cloth in his mouth, the people tried to pick him up. But Barius put up too much of a fight.

One of the people eventually said, "May I do the honors?" The other one nodded. Then he pulled his fist back, and punched Barius as hard as possible in the head. Barius blacked out.

As Barius awoke, he found himself lying down, watching the sun rise over the Gold Coast- through bars . He looked a bit around and found himself in a cage. Frusterated, he turned around to see if he could find out any more... and found a statue of Hircine, with scores of cultists bowing down to it. Barius was scared. When would he get free... could he ever get free?

Im not really rping with anyone at the minute, and since im not goig to be here tommorow, i figured i need to finish this small battle so that we can all know what happened at night. Besides, Jonas needs something to read when he gets back (^_^) ))

Isaac moved through the Imperail City, noticing a much smaller amount of werewolves. The vampires that were assaulting the sewers could now be seen emerging, aiding in clearing the city.

"Thurdos!" he called out, his commander running to him moments later. "I am going to assault the tower. Take command of the soldiers. If I do not sound the call in ten minutes, attack it." Thurdos nodded before going back into combat. Isaac turned, walking into the center of the city, heading into the White Gold tower without any assault. As he walked in, he noticed that the door to the council chamber was open.

Isaac slowly walked in, blade in hands. He could smell flesh, but where?

"Hircine has been observing you, Hunter." a voice said from the shadows of the room, a robed black haired Imperial stepping into view. Isaac snarled, preparing his blade.

"I should kill you where you stand, beast, but I give you a oppurtunity to live. You will deliver a message to Hircine, if you truly are loyal."

The Imperial smirked, gazing at Isaac, "Hircine sends a invitation to you, Hunter. He wishes for you to come to Solsteihm soon, to participate in the next grand hunt. If you wish to confront him, you will have to brave the dangers of predators, under his control or not."

Isaac snarled, "If this is all you have to say, how about I cut you apart now?" he then leaped at the Imperial, swinging his blade only to be parried by a daedric spear that conjured in his enemies hand.

"Always be prepared for anything." he said, grabbing Isaac by the throat and flinging him across the room with suprising stregth and agility. Isaac slammed against the wall, falling to the ground.

Isaac slowly pushed himself up, glaring at the Imperial. "You are infected, yet you dont transform." he said, the Imperial smirking in return.

"Dont make quick judgements." he said, pulling off his robes and collapsing on his fours, beggining to cry out as fangs emerged from his mouth, his hands and feet turning into claws, white hair sprouting out of his body. He raised his head toward Isaac, letting out a loud howl as saliva flew out of its mouth.

Isaac let out snarl, his fangs showing. He would not be easily intimidated if he was to lead the clans to salvation. Not even by a alpha!

The beast lunged at Isaac, knocking him to the ground. Isaac swung a fist at its face, only succeeding in irritating it. He began attempting to push the wolf off him while it dug its claws into his side. Isaac let out a loud yell, his left arm falling to the ground, his katana inches away. He began trying to reach for it as the beast dug its claws deeper, opening its mouth and sinking its fangs into the side of his neck.

Isaac let out a loud cry, gripping the blade handle tightly and raising it in the air, stabbing down on the beast's back, it pulling it's head away from Isaac's neck and letting out one final howl before going limp. It slowly reverted back into a Imperial, Isaac pushing his foe off him and slowly standing, blood rolling down his shoulder. He began to limp to the top of the tower, higher and higher.

"Damn... you Hircine." he muttered, opening a trap door to find himself standing on the roof of the tower. Miles of forest could be seen in the vampires eye. He slowly raised his head, letting out a loud vampiric cry that could be heard all throughout the land, echoing throughout the mountains, travelling through the wind.

Below, the armies of vampires observed there leader, Isaac looking toward them. "The time has come, for a new age!" he shouted, his followers cheering.

This is only he beggining...

OOC: Sorry to break this to you Mr. Boom but White Gold Tower is gone. --

The group finally reached the Silver road, and started heading south. "I've seen 2 other cities on my my to Skaal's," said Barius, "Kvatch looked fine, but I never saw the inside. Skingrad was... razed. All that stands is the castle, which may contain survivors. But I never saw Imperial City. We will find out it's fate soon. The sun was slowly gaining altitude now, and the party finally saw the city on the horizon. A unusually large and tall stone bridge was seen too.

"That's odd," said one of the refugees, "I don't remember a bridge being.. by Akatosh! It's the White-Gold Tower!" Everyone stopped and looked in horror. The tower, the sign of the empire, the comforting sight of safety, was now resting through the marketplace district and across the lake.

You may want to edit your post a bit so they are surrounded by a few remnants of walls or something. Actually... your post is more important than mine in this instance. I'll edit mine.

I would like to aply for this RP.

Name: Lucien Leroy Lamatar
Age: 19
Race: Nord
Gender: Male

Description: Lucien is 7"4, Big Mucled, He has golden brown windswept hair with a golden brown goatee, he was blood red eyes, and has scars all over his back.
Weapons: He has two silver short swords at his side and has silver bow and silver arrows.
Armor: He wears full ebony exept the helmet
Equipment: He always carry's three bottles of Surlie Brothers Wine, some healing potions and a few lock picks.
Bio: He was born in Cheydenhal as a noble he was very strong and big growing up. His father joined the fighters guild and went on a contract and never came back. Ever since he was searched for him.

OOC: Uhh, you need to work on your Bio, tell us your involvement with the Great Bloodmoon and what you plan on doing. Your armor is a wee bit too... grand, explain why you have it and how you got it, is it a family heirloom? Also, I usually never complain about names, but you need to change it around a bit, it just doesn't sound Nordic at all. Usually Nord sur-names are like mine, Ice-helm, Wolf-bane, Fur-balls... anything like that. Other than that, solid. Also, are you a vampire, because you say your eyes are red?

IC:

"Men, prepare arrows!" said Endreg, scaling the wall. When he reached the top, he saw more werewolves than he'd ever hoped in one spot. They were running on all fours, slathering at the mouth, they could be seen rather clearly in the 50 ft opening that spanned the length of the walls in front of the fortress. Endreg watched as his archers lit their arrows, drew back the waxed strings of their bows and prepared.

The only sounds coming from the fort was the shallow breathing of brave men. And beyond the high wooden walls, the barking and howling of charging werewolves. "FIRE!" roared Endreg, and over 150 fire-arrows went sizzling through the air. Only a few hit their mark, but the arrows were fired for illumination more than anything. "We see em men! Silver arrows! Make each shot count and take careful aim!"

Again, the walls were silent. The courtyard behind the walls was now lined with heavily armed Skaal, and refugees with nothing but sickles and pitchforks. "Fire, men!" and the Skaal archers let silver arrows fly. This time, the sounding of whimpering and whining could be heard as some of the wolves had been hit. But they were too close now, "Prepare for combat!" and the first werewold latched onto the wall and began a demonic climb, only to be met at the top by Endreg's silver broadsword to the neck.

He had wondered maybe if his father could be there he already knew where his mother was she was hiding in Cheydinhal. Lucien ran for miles and miles with a determined look on his face he would find his father, or he would DIE trying.

OOC: I had permission from Jonasvault to do this.
IC: Leading the blood pack was the infamous Iron-Jaw, double the size of the average werewolf he stands at almost 8 feet high and weighs about 600 lbs of pure muscle, he was the pack leader and one of the original were wolves, he didn't care about the eating the nords. He just wanted to kill Ice-helm. One year ago Ice-helm killed his cubs and mate. The werewolf longed for revenge since then.
More werewolves started banging on the gate, Iron-jaw watched impatiently as he waited for it to open.
Iron-Jaw was once a man, a dunmer named Fenrir, but transformed by Hircine himself as a reward for being his most loyal follower.

John stood next to ice-helm with his Sword out. He was in shock when he saw all the wolves. He then came up with an idea.
''Ice-helm, do you have oil? We could pour it on them and then burn those bastards!''

A few nights after the siege...

THe city had changed much. All of the Imperial Banners were replaces with banners of a skull with a dagger puncturing it. What few buildings that did not have entrances to the sewers, now did. During dawn, the upper part of the city was deserted with the exception of perhaps a few buildings. During the night however, it was bustling with guards and vampiric citizens.

All the cultist and stragglers had been moved to the prison as cattle to the vampires, and six vampires took seats on the council. It was on this night, the first meeting began. In the White Gold tower of the renamed city, Teragar, five council members sat with there Lord Isaac around the great table.

The once insane creature now lead the vampires, he now dressed in a black suit usually for noble's parties. His face was a lot less pale then it was when he had travelled alone. Indeed, Isaac had changed much in a matter of nine nights. He had taken after Lucien, a god to the vampires. It was told that he was perhaps the first of them all, and that he had taken down Ulthgar, the pack leader of Hircine's hounds. They say Ulthgar's head still hung deep below the once powerful Vampiric City of Nifflevar.

"Lord Isaac." one of the councilmen said, it coming from Thurdos who was seated one seat away from Isaac, along with his brother Farus, "The troops have cleared out the Island of any infestation, however the borders around our city are not safe. The farms are greatly infested, and the town of Pale Pass is a major priority."

"Also," Farus said, "When I was fleeing the sewers when the beast first came to this land, I noticed a lot of people also heading into caves and ruins. They can now either be a chance for us to have more cattle, or they can be new hounds."

Isaac sneered, "We can not go treating every damn human as cattle! Though I did manage to get the call, and many vampires have joined our ranks or on there way here, that does not mean it was heard all throughout Tamriel. We must expand our allies, our enemies of our enemies."

Farus and Thurdos nodded.

"But sir Isaac," another member said, this one a Dunmer, "What of our food supply? We can not hold out on these for so long!"

"I am well aware of that. The cultist shall provide great meals for us." Isaac said in reply, sighing. All though he did not show it, he was indeed in much pain. After the alpha had bit him in the neck and arm, Isaac assumed he was infected. However, he was of the Night hallow clan and would not be defeated so easily by a insolent disease.

He would have Hircine's head on a plate before that happened. And then there was the rumors of the three witches of the eastern Island. Of Solsteim.
Isaac did indeed plan to assault the home of the hounds soon, but for now his forces had to gain a foot hold in there homeland before pushing to the east. No doubt claiming Vvardenfall would help, since many of his people resided there.

"Tomorrow, I want Farus and Thurdos to get moving to the shrine of Hircine. Do rest in a cave before you get there. Attack the following night, and imprison the cultist. Bring them back to this city." he said. All though the vampires did have horses now, Isaac would not risk losing any of his people to the damned sun. No... he would find other ways. Every night, he observed the position of the Blood Moon. A eclipse was coming from what he could tell, but he was not so sure. Not yet.

If one did come however, the vampire would waste no time in clearing the lands around his city. He knew as soon as his troops entered Vvardenfall's Ashland's, it would be a free slaughter. Isaac planned to bring more among his ranks, vengeful victims who wished for the power to destroy the beast that killed there family.

"Are there any other matters to bring up?" Isaac said, the room being quiet.

"Well..." one cultist spoke, "There is one matter. The cultist keep rambling about there lord, how they feel his presence drawing nearer. And our necromancers have felt a strong force drawing near, from the east."

Isaac snarled. If this force happened to be who he think it was, let him come! The sooner Isaac would fight his foe, the better.

"This meeting is over." Isaac said, standing with the rest of the council members. "Thurdos, are the ballistas complete?"

"Yes sir." Thurdos replied, "Shall I issue some guards there."

"Indeed." Isaac said, walking out of the tower, into the night of Teragar.

Yes, let him come. I will be waiting. Isaac thought to himself, heading to what was once the Talos Plaza district.

Endreg looked at John, and then looked back at the men, and then at the werewolves banging on the gate. "Man the hot-oil! Burn the devils back to the Huntsman's plane!" and six archers ran over to two large pots hanging on a steel bar, with a lever and chain that operated them. "Quickly men!" yelled Endreg as he leaned over the wall and rammed the tip of his sword into yet another wolf's head.

Finally the oil was ready, smoldering and smoking, "Release! Burn the wolves at the gates!" and the men released two large pots of oil at the wolves who were clawing at the gates. When the oil hit them some were set on fire and simply ran away, desperately trying to put out the smoldering and sticky liquid. The others simply howled and went berserk, throwing their burning bodies against the gate. "Archer's, bring them down!" yelled Endreg, and so a few Bosmer archers leaned over the wall and shot the remaining wolves.

But just as the Bosmer archers shot the wolves, some other werewolves climbed up the wall in a remarkably fast speed and pulled them off the wall, "You sick beasts!" yelled Endreg as he watched the Bosmer being devoured, "Hand me that bow! The arrows too, come now, quickly!" Endreg pulled back the bow and shot the wolves with expert aim. By now, the walls were rife with battle, as Skaal warriors and archers battles huge werewolves who had gotten up the walls and were now tearing through the ranks of Endreg's men.

And then, Endreg looked beyond the onslaught, he saw... an old foe. Iron-jaw, Hircine's prize himself. And behind him, in the distance, was an army of Black Wolves, the largest and toughest of all the wolves. "God's help us." Endreg whispered to himself. However, things on the walls were looking up, only 9 Skaal had died, and the walls were secure. But now the Skaal warriors on the walls looked, and saw what Endreg saw.

"Men, prepare for death! We see it now! Hircine's black wrath has come upon us, and we must bring it illumination! Light the Ulv-Brannsar!"

Isaac walked through the city, noticing that the glow of the Blood Moon had turned to the west. A good thing, for that meant that his people would be able to rest for one night. Soon however, the vampires would be going to war against the armies of the Hound Master. Indeed, it would only be a matter of time before Isaac lead his forces to the east. A matter of weeks, or months. It did not matter. Vampires had all the time in the world, literally.

However, one night ago a group of scouts returned. That is, mutilated. Only one was left alive. He spoke of a nord they encountered, who transformed on his own will and killed them. The survivor barely got out, and not without being bitten. He died shortly after.

If my men are to weak to handle one hound, how will we go against there army?
Isaac thought to himself, heading toward the prison.
