The group finally reached the Silver road, and started heading south. "I've seen 2 other cities on my my to Skaal's," said Barius, "Kvatch looked fine, but I never saw the inside. Skingrad was... razed. All that stands is the castle, which may contain survivors. But I never Imperial City. We will find out it's fate soon. The sun was slowly gaining altitude now, and the party finally saw the city on the horizon. It stood as proud as ever. But something seemed very wrong about it. Suddenly a group of tattered people rushed out to meet them.

"Survivors! It's been so long since we have seen survivors!" one said.

"What happened to the city?" asked Barius.

"We came from it. Werewolves never attacked it... it's safe, but we didn't want to hang around in that place. It could explode any minute. We have no idea where to go. Is there any chance we can come with you?"

"I guess so," said Barius. "We are headed for the ruins of Anvil, they recently have been liberated." With that the group -now 21 strong- cotinued on their journey.

Amata closed her eyes as Endreg departed.

"I suppose it's that easy, isn't it." She asked herself.

She turned and walked towards the left hall entrance. She looked at the paintings that decorated the hall as she made her way towards the sleeping quarters. They were paintings of what seemed to have been past Skaal clan leaders. They all seemed to be staring at her. Amata stopped as she reached the end of the hall were a door stood in front of her. She opened it to find the room empty. She sighed in relief. She didn't want to have to deal with anyone in her current condition. She removed her cloak, folding it and placing it in her pack before she slid into the bed at the very corner of the room. She stared at the ceiling as she thought about what would come next before her eyes slowly slid shut.

John stayed silence pretty much the whole journey untell now. He drew his long sword. ''How do we know these guys aren't infected? I say we either kill them or leave them behind...'' said John.

"Ah that's right John. Well have to wait until nightfall. But until then... YOU FIVE! Please stay back here or we will have to kill you. I'm sorry, but we have no assurance you are uninfected. You know the way, just follow the road straight."

The group had reached Kvatch before nightfall finally took over. One of the refugees asked, "Are we stopping here for the night?'

Barius replied, "oh god no. Way too dangerous. We will have to reach Anvil before we can sleep. The party groaned and trudged on in the silence. but, a twig was heard snap. A shuffling of leaves. Thee guards, John, and Barius readies themselves for combat. Minutes went by with nothing happening. Then, a loud howl was heard nearby. A werewolf lunged out of the forest and mauled a guard. They were quick to respond and slew the beast quickly. They look at the guard, who was cut all over. Barius was about to kill him when John said, "Stop! I'll give him the rest of the elixir," He poured the rest of the vial down the victim's throat, who then stood up and tried walking, which he could manage.

"We have to get moving. The wolf alerted others to our location. We have to go. Run!" yelled Barius. And with that they sprinted down the Gold Road, with distant howls slowly coming closer. There were five of them. The people had lied. Who knows what was in the Imperial City?

OOC: sorry lohg john if I'm putting words in your character's mouth but I'd like to keep this going. Wait you're back... ah well.

Isaac wandered the Aylied halls for a long time, until at last he found himself standing on a bridge. Below him, many Ayleid towers rose, blue stones built around them to lighten the once majestic city. A long tale was written within the towers, Isaac noted, one that he would have to come back and decipher another day. For now however, there was important business to be done.

He walked across the bridge, which seemed to be heading in a more south eastern direction. Down here, the Breton would not have to worry about the sunlight... but there were far worse things then that and wolves, from what he heard. He came to a staircase built on the side of the bridge, stepping down it, into the city below.

Aylied streets lay empty'd before the Breton. A sad site, for he knew that this was the fate of all civilisation. Abandonment, and breakdown. He knew that he would live to see many things, until at last the age of Tamriel came crashing down under the weight of civilizations spear, shield, and blade. Such was the process of life. But for now, his only goal was to get somewhere.

Most of Tamriel may be running, searching for haven, but that was the exact opposite for the vampire. No, he would not let any werewolf go free. Not after what they did to his people. Not after what they did to those in Nighthallow that he showed care for.

Isaac let out a sigh, discarding the petty thoughts and going onto the matter at hand. He walked out of the city, into a more cavelike area.

"Hircine.." he whispered to himself, "I will kill you, after I kill all your damned hounds."

OOC: Its fine dude. Totally understand.

John couldn't run anymore he was to tired. Sitting in the basemant all day REALLY put him out of shape. But the fear of becoming wolf foof forced him to keep sprinting. His heart was about to explode. He felt like vomiting and he couldn't even breathe. The feeling was torture.
Luckily and abandoned fort came into view.
''
''Barius, We can't run all night... maybe we should stay in that abandoned fort for the night... It looks secure enough'', John barely let the words out of his mouth he was so tired.

"We have too.... we're... exhausted" replied Barius. The group ran off the road and into the fort. A guard slammed the door shut and barricaded it. "Get some sleep, we'll wait out the night here instead," With that, they all fell to sleep, except for Barius, who stared into the dark, cob-web covered halls of the fort, waiting for anything to attack.

John laid back. His muscles ached as if they were all broken. He then counted his potions of cure disease. He thought he had nine left. There was only 1 left. He must have dropped in battle with one of the were wolves. That means the second person to get bitten is a goner! ''We only have one potion now!',' said John loud enough for everyone to hear.
He then fell asleep. And it was morning again.

Ocrandas had founds some empty rooms in the fort where he thought he might be able to sleep in. He thought he should probably ask Ice Hel first.

Ocrandas then asked Ice Helm " Wheres a room i can sleep in?"

Morning came. Barius got up from his wtchful stance and woke everyone up. "We're alive! Ha! Wel, let's get going." The group got up from their groggy sleep and removed the door barricade. They ventured out into the morning mist and got back on the path. After an hour's jouney, they could finally see Anvil outlined on the horizon. As they passed the ruined farms, they eventually got to the front gate. One of the Avil survivors was guarding it.

"Barius! You're back! And with many survivors and troops! Ah, well done! Let's get going..." . They entered the city.

OOC: Okay, here are a few words of wisdom to some of you. dert33, please try and make longer more interesting posts, at least a paragraph, 4 to 5 good sentences, give them some detail and make your guy seem a bit more interesting, not that he isn't but he needs more action in the story. And Tamriel V, is it me or did your journey take a VERY short span of time, Cyrodiil is about the size of France in this story, it would have taken awhile, and I feel you are taking too much control of every situation, you need to give John way more freedom. Also Tamriel V, you should have let me have a say in whether or not the refugees could have come with you. I will let all this go by for these last posts because I don't want anything changed, but remember this in the future. I hate to be a stickler and I'm not being a dike, but this is for the better.

IC:

Endreg saw the Dark Elf again while doing some work around the courtyard, it was night again. "Well, there are a few rooms over there by the south wall, but if you want to be alone there is a room in the keep, as soon as you enter take the right hallway and it will be the 5th door on the right." Endreg turned back to his work, and then remembered that the Dunmer was a werewolf, "Oh, and my guards will be waiting outside your room, armed to the teeth with silver, should you turn. I'll have someone give you an elixir of the wolfsbane, to keep you from turning, it tastes terrible but we won't have to kill you."

Endreg stopped his work, and handed it over to the other man beside him. He trudged over to a tower door, walked in and climbed the ladder. When he reached the top, nearly 40 feet off the ground, he surveyed the surrounding area. The wind kissing his face, and the red moon shining on him, he saw two werewolves in the distance. I'd kill all of you, I WILL kill all of you, someday.

The guard took them to the docks. "The most wonderful thing happened in your absence. A ship from Summerset arrived! They have troops, munitions, rations, and more. They had the same idea we did, but the fact that we cleansed the city made it much easier. Most of their troops are now
on permanent duty here, they'll help us keep the werewolves out. Oh, and they told me to send you to them. There ship is docked on the furthest pier to your right." Barius turned to face the elegant ship, and started walking to it.

""This is great! However. I should go and inform Ice-helm.... I'll leave tomorrow. I'll be back in one to three days, okay?' said John to Barius. John checked out the ship in awe. Then found an empty house to sleep in when night comes.

"Thank you Ice-helm. Tomorrow ill go out and look for the witches." said Ocrandas as he started walking away.

He walked upstairs and saw the guards waiting outside the door.

"Were watching you werewolf" Said the guard disgustingly.

Ocrandas glared at him. " Just let me in my room." said Ocrandas as the guard opened the door.

"Oh and bye the way..... i didn't choose to be a werewolf you know. So you don't have to talk to me like i'm scum. I'm actually going to try to find a cure tomorrow. Good night"

"Wow that Dunmer really has a temper" said the guard.

Man I hate nords. Ocrandas thought to himself as he walked over to his bed. Their so full of themselves all because there so big and muscular. Well i spit on you Nords. I spit on your ignorance!

"well might as well get some sleep."said Ocrandas as he laid on the bed and extinguished his lamp.

OOC: Is that enough? and also what Ocrandas said about nords are just his thoughts. I dont think this about nords at all ;)

Before entering the ship, Barius turned to his Skaal guards and said, "You are free to leave back for Skaal's Burrow now. May Azura guide you. Oh, take these fire damage scrolls the High Elves brought and give them back to Endreg in compensation for those refugees I took off with without his permission. I feel truly guilty about that" He then boarded the boat, getting the sick feeling he wasn't coming out for a while.

John looked at each guard, ''We'll leave in the morning. Get some sleep. Then when we're they I shall convince Ice helm to leave the burrow for summer set isles. Goodbye Barius.''
John went to sleep. In the morning he and Icehelm's men each rode a horse and went down the road heading to skaal's burrow.

"We are pleased to meet you, Barius." said the High Elf. "My name is... unimportant. We were sent to start an evacuation harbor. I can see your men made it alot easier for us. However, we still have about a dozen soldies and many supplies, and you are probably wondering why."

"Not really" said Barius.

"Oh just shut up and listen. We are also supposed to set up a second port- Leyawiin. The city's condition is unknown, and we are supposed to liberate it as well. I was wondering if you would help us do that?"

"I'm sorry, but my job is here, in Anvil. I have worked hard to get it to where it is now, although I owe you a lot of thanks to you. Now the harbor is up and running again! But, I feel it is my duty to protect it. Sorry."

"Very well. If you change your mind, make it quick. We'll take those refugees back to the isles. Goodbye. By the way, the High Elves that are in the city now are here to stay, Barius."

"Thank you. Where did all of the refugges come from though? Now that I'm back, I've seen a few walking the ruined streets."

"Kvatch. they said that the guards there have gone crazy and paranoid, and began killing them. They are the only ones to have survived."

"Damn, now Kvatch has fallen... to a different evil. I'll see what I can do. Thank you." And with that, Barius walked out of the ship.

John led the group of Nords on horse back. It was alot faster then last time. They wasted no time. not even to eat. They ate on horse back while riding. The nord men were told to urinate in their pants if they needed to go. John said it as a joke but they took it seriously. By the end of the first day they stayed at a cave not far from Kvatch. The seconded day empty ruins near skingrad. They pretty slept at cave and ruins at night and traveled by day. They fought a were wolf here and there but ice-helms men made short work of them before John could even draw his sword.
By 6:00 pm of the seventh day they reached skaals burrow came into view. They rode to the door. And went inside.
''You may return to your duties here,'' John told Ice-helms men.
John then walked up to Ice-helm.
''Sir.. There's ships from anvil going to the summerset isles.... you and your men should go there.''

OOC; Just going to let this go by fast to avoid boring you guys lol. I'm not sure how much days it take from anvil to the skyrim border. In oblivion it would've took like 1 but that would be too easy.

Dante Gave a slight nod and Followed the Breton. This man was a bit curious though. For a mere adventurer or civilian, his pace was fast. Dante only noticed few people like this man most were vampires. He wasn't really suprised, Vampires and werewolf weren't the best of friends in their own little existance. Although every vampire he had encountered tried to kill him. Or was it defense? No matter, Dante would tolerate this man, vampire or not. As the old saying goes. "The enemy of my enemy, is my friend." He would get answers in time. For now side of his thinking, he flashwed out his blades, his ears more attuned then ever to the almost silent pitter patter of a running werebeast. Finally just one this time. But He couldn't abandon his possible only ally. Instead he would keep running, there would be time to hunt. But not now...

OOC: Cyrodiil is about the size of France, so a few days of hard riding on horse back would probably do it.

IC:

John and Endreg's guards walked through the gate a few days later. John spoke of ship's in Anvil taking refugees to Summerset Isle, which Endreg knew was the last truely safe place in Tamriel. "John, this is my home, and my heritage. I cannot abandon it myself, however, these refugees deserve to go to a safer place."

Endreg looked up at the sky, it was Dusk. He looked down and around the courtyard, at all the refugees. "In about a week, there will be the Winter Solstice, one of the planets in the sky will align with the bloodmoon, and the werewolves will be unable to change, once this happens, you will be able to cross Cyrodiil in relative safety." Endreg turned back to his work, but then had another realization, "However, there are the werewolves who can't change at all, and they will still hunt you. I could send 30 of my men with you?" Endreg waited for John's answer.

OOC: Sorry for being so late on arriving.

Adire spurred her horse faster, her crossbow in her hand and the other delicate hand gripping tightly on the reins, making her knuckles turn white. Kvatch was now a tiny speck on the horizon and with the moon high in the sky she was getting more and more nervous of another attack.
"Come on Danika! Go faster!"
She spurred her brown mare again, looking back just to have sheer horror appear in her eyes. A massive brown werewolf, at least a whole two heads higher than her. Adire raised her crossbow, the horse bounced up and down making it hard for the Breton get a clean shot. Without warning, the werewolf leaped and slashed as it flew through the air, then Adire let the silver bolt fly.

The blonde haired girl was a crack shot and the bolt struck just under its heart. The beast was knocked down and Adire turned back, with her horse speeding, she saw it. Anvil. The port city.
"OPEN THE GATES!" She yelled to the night guards. The steel gates slid open and the girl and her mare squeezed in. Danika collapsed to the floor, spilling her rider to the floor, to hit her back on a bench. She sighed with relief.
"I'm safe..."

Barius awoke from his sleep to the nudging of a guard. "Damnit, can't I ever get a decent night's sleep?"

"Sir, we have a new arrival. A woman has just entered the city. She is believed to be tracked by werewolves," the guard quickly said.

"Ehhh... fine, I'll get up." Barius got out of bed and put on some casual attire. He walked of of his room and into the city's atrium (which was only about fifty yards away), where an exhausted Breton stood. "Greetings... err.... Breton, to the safe city of Anvil. May I ask where you came from? You're in safe hands, any pursuers of you are dead if they get close to the walls."

Dante could silently be following him. Im going to assume its night right now, or just play the night that I didnt get to. Can everyone try to restrain themselves from magically teleporting into the thing im about to do.))

Eventaully, the caves came to a end, Isaac standing ontop a green hill. The Jerall Mountains lay miles behind him, and infront of him, hills could be seen with the Imperial City not to far off. A massive fort was also into view, the first of Isaac's goals.

The bloodmoon still seemed to cast a small amount of its glow upon the Imperial City, Isaac grinning.

"Soon Hircine... soon." he said, walking to the fort.

The vampire had a plan indeed, one that would bring about a new age if it succeeded. One that would bring a rather... dark hope. As he entered the fort, he took notice of no torches. A good sign, for what he was hoping. He moved through many passages, not a sign of life. It was when he was ten minutes within the fortress, he could faintly hear voices. He began to run to there direction, heading down a set of stairs and moving to the right, going through a hall.

The voices grew nearer, Isaac beggining to slow his pace, walking to a edge and looking down at a room. Many black clothed figures could be seen coversing, there skin just as pale as Isaac's.

I found you. he thought, looking at the refuges of his kind.

"OI! Thats my cattle, maggot!" a orcish voice cried out, Isaac looking to a orc fighting with a nord over a bosmer. Isaac assumed the Bosmer was food for them. A few swings were thrown, many of the other vampires cheering.

"Rip his head off!"

"Give me his spine when your done with him!"

"Tear him apart!"

Isaac frowned, drawing his blade.

"ENOUGH!" he shouted, the crowd going silent and gazing at the newcomer. "You all are acting like a pack of, rabid, DOGS! Hiding in this fort, fighting against each other! Are we no better then the beast that attack us? We are not the lycans of the east. We are the warriors of the night, the stalkers of the darkness!"

The crowd began to draw nearer to where Isaac was standing, listening intently.

"The hounds have taken the Imperial Legions beloved city, and a great point of control! It is certain indeed, that the empire wont be needing it anymore. The damned beast populate it now, obeying there god, Hircine! By Luciens blood, there is a damned cult presence in there, and here you all hide, killing eachother? A new age is upon us! Those that branded us as exile no longer control these lands. It shall not be a imperial that leads the new age, nor shall there be a damned new empire!"

The crowd gazed with wonder and respect. They did not know who this newcomer was, but every word spoken had truth in it.

"It shall be the clans, united, that rule these provinces! Come with me and take the city, and I promise there will indeed be great reward. To some, this may be a time of no hope, where we must flee. But I oppose! I say, this is the time of the Vampires! I say, this is our chance to show our true might! ARE YOU WITH ME?" Isaac shouted, raising his arms.

The crowd cheered in reply.

It shall be on this night, that we change this world. Isaac thought to himself as he began to exit the fort, knowing that his newly aquired army would be following him shortly.
