The Boneyard...

Oh, and btw, on the topic. I'd like to see Fallout 1 in a 3D version, then nothing should be missing, no characters, locations, dialogues, perks. I think a modding team would do it best, but it would take a long time. I think there's one in development but it's taking its sweet time. :P

If you have the time, you can check out http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4821 I made in Fallout 3. :D

Actually you can get a length of rope for free in a shack at Shady Sands. You go to the farms (the ones we've made a big deal about) and you go south (down-right) then you'll see a small shack with a length of rope on the floor.

Spoiler
Ok, I went down the first elevator shaft killed everything, found some more rope in a locker for the second shaft. Went down that shaft killed everything, leveled to level 2 (Unarmed is 101%!), I found a first aid book and used it but now I don't know where to go, I'm pretty sure I've checked everything. Oh I found some leather armor, 2 grenades, time bomb (It seems anyways) and a 10mm SMG!!!

Good work :) You could pay the Raiders a Visit or head south to Junktown. Did you spend alot of time in Shady Sands?

Well I talked to a few people, I found a mercenary, I think, but I didn't have 100 caps to hire him. I found the farming area, that's where I got the free rope from the shed-thing. After that I kinda just went in and out of houses and buildings.

Shady Sands as some quests. Talk to Aradesh. There is a Radscorpion problem and a problem with Raiders (Khans). Did you talk to Tandi before you left for Vault 15? Is she in Shady sands now?
Spoiler
at some point she gets taken by the Khans but its after you leave and then come back. [spoiler] Talk to the Doc as well [give him radscorpoin tails and he makes a cure

Is he by the gate because some guy said something about the radscorpion caves, he asked if I wanted the location and I said no because two of them killed me in the desert while traveling to Vault 15 for the first time.

Aradesh is in the building by the main gate, hes a talking head you'll know him when you see him. Guy buy the gate can knows the location of the caves. I can't remember if you need to talk to Aradesh in order to do the quest or just talk to the guy by the gate.

Aradesh tells you about Junktown.

Alright, I'll give it a go.

Edit: Well after wrecking 5 radscorpions with my 10mm smg, I ran out of ammo and blew up...

Strong Back is a good perk if you have Small Frame traited.

Charisma and Intelligence play more of a factor for dialogue choices (and consequences) than they do in Fallout 3. Bear that in mind if you decide to start over. Having a 1 or 2 in one or both of them will cause you to miss out on some neat stuff.

ETA: Make sure your Fallout 1 has the latest patch(not sure what the version number is).

Lol, its your first char, you're allowed to make mistakes. If you want I can shoot you a build that's relatively easy to use.

Nah, I'm doing Ok now, I got an unarmed/small guns build, both are 100% and I killed all the radscorpions in the cave. I just got to buy some more 10mm ammo for my SMG... the smg owns haha :gun:
